“Excuse me?” Eddie asked, all pretenses of their original conversation gone.
“I get it, man. We – We all get it. I’m an asshole. Can you stop being such a fucking freak about it?”
As soon as the words left Steve’s mouth, he froze. He imagined everyone did, based off the tense silence that immediately followed.
Dustin breaks it first. “What the hell, Steve?"
Steve dropped his hand to his side and kept his eyes closed, sighing. “That was – yeah, okay, that was really, really mean. I’m s –”
An explosion of pain burst under his left eye as Eddie punched him, the momentum sending him stumbling backwards before he caught himself. He shook his head a bit, trying to hear what everyone was saying again over the ringing now sounding through his head. “Okay,” Steve gritted out, “Alright, yeah, I deserved –”
Before he could finish his sentence, Eddie grabbed him by the shirt collar, getting in his face. Steve did his best to remain calm, though he’s really not a fan of this whole thing anymore, and he’d much rather he never get into another fistfight again.
OR: Steve and Eddie get into a fight, and no one takes Steve's side. This action will have consequences.

In canon, we’re told Lance got his Altean marks as a reminder of his love for Allura.
But what if he got them through different means? What if they stood as a living memento for him to look at every time he sees his own image, reflecting his inherent belonging to the lions as their paladin?
His story may have begun in the sunny beaches of Varadero, but Lance has traveled far further than he ever thought he would, sprawling out across the universe with first Blue, then Red. But what if there comes a time after the original lion swap in which Keith and Shiro are both indisposed and Lance needs to step up to the plate and pilot Black?
Will she accept him? Or will the barrier remain raised once more, leaving the fate of the universe on the wrong side of history?

Summary
Something happens to Steve Harrington in October of 1984 in the junkyard while protecting those kids.
Something that he’s afraid of. That he doesn’t know how to control.
It starts with rows and rows of razor sharp teeth digging their way into his flesh, ripping and tearing their way through the layers of jeans and tall socks. A scream erupts from his throat at the hot burning sensation that trails its way up his leg. He’s trying to kick it with his other foot, but the demodog doesn’t even seem phased. Its flowered face never opens to release him, no matter how much force he uses behind his kicks. It uses its grip on Steve to start pulling him down the staircase of the bus, one by one, and Steve knows that if he lets himself get pulled all the way out, it’s over.

Summary
The Squawk had become their cover, their communication hub, their war room. Robin did the actual broadcasts mostly playing music and reading pre-written community updates approved by the military presence in town, but the real purpose was the coded messages. Steve had helped her set up the whole system, spending hours figuring out how to get all the sound effects she wanted, taping things to walls and attempting to MacGyver random things around the station.
That was just who Steve was, but looking around the room now, Robin wondered more and more if anyone else actually saw that.

The second that Steve is thrown to the ground, bat tail wrapped firmly and all-too-tightly around his neck, his head smacks the ground. He doesn't hear a crack or anything; everything is suddenly covered up by this high-pitched ringing that consumes his brain.
Once the ringing clears, Steve doesn't know what to do. He can't hear the annoying noise anymore, but he also can't hear anything. At all.

Mike's teeth are chattering so hard they hurt. He's shaking, his voice is shaking, and everything is spinning. The world ripples like murky water through his tears and blotchy vision, but Will is still. He focuses on him, on the fingers trickling soothingly down his spine like they're strumming a harp, and the smaller hand wriggled into his own, on the warmth of the body beside his own.
"I-I thought I-I could just stop whenever I needed to..."
"But you can't?" Will whispers. He sounds anguished, and it floods Mike with more shame than he can stomach. He gulps loudly, and at the nauseated look, Will looks slightly alarmed before Mike manages to reel his sickness back.
"No..." Mike echoes. It's horrific to admit, "I can't."
