"Sweet-talker," Mobius says fondly, and the breathy headiness of relief rushes in alongside. Loki can't be too out of it, if he's saying shit like that. "You can't flatter me. I don't care how long it's been, I'm immune."

Summary
Loki suspects he will have to learn how to live as a human would, for the most part. This timeline was carefully selected decades ago now, as a peaceful one, and he has ensured it will remain so until the branch dies, many millennia hence. But that does not negate the presence of free will, and this branch has no such earthly heroes as those Avengers in the Sacred Timeline. What little power he still holds should remain in reserve in the unlikely event it is needed. There is none to expend on frivolities.
Norns. He will need to learn how to actually use a toothbrush.

Summary
Discovering how to live permanently on a timeline, in time of peace rather than multiversal war, has been difficult. Figuring out how to do so without frequent use of magic has been a bit of a gentle learning curve.
Stumbling through the process of assimilating into life with a whole other person in the house has been more like a learning right-angle. Or a learning rocket launch.

Maybe this isn’t the awful thing it feels like. Perhaps whatever lingers in his blood that overrides his control is something intended to help, to make him better.
The thought doesn’t alleviate any of the terror that still swirls behind his ribcage, threatens to spill over and sink its icy teeth into his bones — but it’s something he clings to, nonetheless. He’ll figure it out, and stop it, and in the meantime it could be a good thing. He hasn’t figured out how to apologise, yet — but the logical first step would be to keep them happy, make sure he stays in their good graces and doesn’t do anything to further aggravate them.
He doesn’t like the idea, but if this — thing, this compulsion helps to make him more palatable, more tolerable and easier to be around, perhaps he’ll be allowed to stay long enough to make it up to them. He might be able to turn it into a good thing before he finds out how to end it, before it wears off. He’ll just wait it out.

J. Daniel Atlas ends up cursed, he thinks. It takes a while for the others to notice. In the meantime, he tries to stay sane. It's surprisingly difficult when your mind isn't your own, anymore.

When Holmes came down in the early hours of the morning, the figure of Doctor Watson was silhouetted in the window, so motionless the detective had almost missed him there.
Watson stood with his right hand in the pocket of his trousers and his left arm raised, forearm pressed against the windowpane and supporting his forehead. His fist was tightly balled and his eyes were closed.Returning from his respectable medical practice, Dr. Watson runs afoul of a senseless act of violence. There's a price to be paid for doing the right thing. He might have always known that - but it is still nice to have the resulting pieces picked up.

Aziraphale just wanted to bring a little attention to his cozy, slightly disorganized bookshop.
So naturally, he started a TikTok account.
It got three views. One of them was Crowley.
Then a pigeon attacked the rare books, Crowley filmed it, and overnight they became the internet’s favorite “are-they-or-aren’t-they” middle-aged not-couple.
Now there are antique spoons with fan accounts, a mildly haunted ficus, and more domestic disasters than either of them is willing to admit.
Featuring: burnt toast, dramatic plants, chaotic tea rituals, and a slow-burn romance disguised as “shop content.”During a livestream, someone asked if they were married.
Aziraphale choked on his tea.
Crowley smirked and said, “Not legally.”
The chat exploded.
