The look on his face is that of a long-suffering man, the same one he always gives her when she has a really stupid plan that he is legally and contractually obligated to follow through with. It’s a look she’s intimately familiar with.

The Lone Wanderer wakes up outside Vault 106 with a lump on her head and a monster they couldn’t even have dreamed up in the vault looking down over her.
It’s not that she doesn’t know she has amnesia. It’s just a little hard to believe it's been three years since she left Vault 101 when she doesn’t even have the memories of leaving.

Thirty years after Project Purity was finished and Charon's contract is in the hands of an impulsive Brotherhood Knight who foolishly decides to fight a woman in a down and out fighting pit.
Poppy is a slave raised by raiders and sold as soon as she turned sixteen and has been fighting for her life in this filthy mud pit for almost ten years. She knows very little about her life before the raiders, living on a farm with a loving mother and father.
The two are thrown together and set out on a quest to find out about her past but they find out they have more in common than they realised.
