Summary
This story was written as a birthday gift for my twin @LordOfTablecloths, which means it was fueled by affection, overthinking, late nights, and the unstoppable urge to go far and beyond with this concept 🎂📜
Their birthday itself acted as a very real, very immovable deadline. Without this date (and without them), this fic would almost certainly still exist as a vague, overly ambitious idea marinating in my notes app or mind. Their excitement, encouragement, and active help in developing the concepts were a huge part of what kept this story moving forward, and honestly, a big part of why it exists at all.The plot involves exorcism. There will be rituals, tension, smut, and moments where everyone involved should probably be in therapy instead. This is not subtle. This is not gentle. It’s a mess....
Please read it in that spirit 🖤.

one of the few pieces of writing that has truly terrified me, excellent job with the horror aspects, i had chills. aside from that, the relationships are wonderfully written, and the final chapter was a lovely bow to wrap the fic up in, truly amazing job, this is going into my personal hall of fame!

Summary
Decidedly, he thinks Thomas is horrible at making descriptions of people.
There is the cardinal he was waiting for, but the thick fabrics of his vestments are bunched up and wrinkled, unlike how any cardinal would let himself dress. His usually hunched posture is heavier, and the beat of his footsteps sounds slower. One would think moving brought him pain, and Aldo has never seen eyebags deeper and darker than the ones on Tedesco's worn face.
The man looked as if hell itself had descended upon him, but what shocked Aldo the most was the hair.
It is long. Shoulder length, unkempt. Thick strands of silver tangling together to form a greasy, stiff mess. It didn't even sway as he walked on. Tedesco did not seem to care.

Goffredo Tedesco returns after eight months of radio silence. Aldo Bellini finds more than he bargained for.
