“Because I’m better at my job than them.”Or: Superman never talks to the press. So when Changbin lands an exclusive interview with him, Seungmin is determined to one-up his self-proclaimed workplace rival. He's not prepared, however, to start catching feelings for Superman—or Changbin.

Jaime sighed, turning away from the raging swirls of white outside the window. “Hermano, we fell out of an exploding plane flying over the middle of nowhere and landed right into a blizzard. Just be grateful we found a cabin, let alone an empty one.”
“Not that—this!” With a swift breeze of indistinguishable movement, Bart had all the kitchen cabinet doors flung open, revealing an impressive amount of...absolutely nothing. “Not even one bag of old junk food, Blue!” Bart spread his arms wide, despairingly. “Zip, zilch, nada! Seriously, what kind of shelter is this?”

It starts as a joke– one drink, one rant, every time. But somewhere between The Mansplainer and The Lovers, between doodled coasters and unspoken glances, Minho starts to notice the problem isn’t that Jisung can’t find the right guy.
It’s that Jisung keeps coming back to the bar.

The voice crackled in his ear — calm, clipped, with the tiniest lilt of annoyance. Seungmin never got flustered. Not even when Changbin spun out during qualifying last week and laughed like it was a joke.
“Yes, sir,” Changbin chirped through the mic, smirking inside his helmet. “But you love when I drive wild.”
There was a pause. A long one. Then:
“Just try not to kill yourself before lap ten.”
Changbin laughed, the sound filtered through the high whine of the engine. “That’s the hope!”
The car rocketed down the straight, a blur of red and black as the crowd roared. But all Changbin could focus on was the steady voice in his ear, the only thing that kept him grounded when the rest of the world blurred by.
Seungmin, his engineer. His anchor. His pain in the ass.
“DRS window opens next lap,” Seungmin continued, voice flat, professional. “Try not to flirt with death before then.”
Changbin grinned. “What about flirting with you?”
Another beat. Then, under the crackle of static, came the sigh:
“Focus, Changbin.”
