Misplace beams at Elita as the commander finished struggling against the shackles around her servos. The frame underneath her is warm, as Misplace flutters her tips of her digits against the thick pink plating. The commander of the Autobots, trapped under her. Couldn't blame the silver femme to giggle to herself over the sound of Elita growling at her.

She worried other mechs, her workaholism — the need in herself to make everything perfect, pristine, deliberate. Precision and control, it's needed in her purpose.

Summary
“Who sent you?” Elita asks, her voice measured, her grip on the femme’s throat cables loosening, just a bit, and the other took a desperate in-vent in, fans clicking on. Her field was palpable of fear and panic, and her claws, both of them were held together by Elita's other servo, wriggled helplessly.
It was pathetic, really, and Elita couldn't help but stare in the fascination of the obscurity of the situation. The Decepticon brand on the Femme's palms is an even split, forming a perfect face of the icon when they splay out together in her bout of twitching.
“My CO! He said I have to get something important from your office, if I want to get back to base with them—”

Summary
The Quintesson drones that attack aren't the standard infantry models. The line collapses. They hit the forward supply depot with enough EMP to knock a front line bruiser out, which means First Aid goes down in the blast and only keeps emergency power.
Almost a year of gaining ground against the Quintesson invasion and the only thing that's surprising is that they haven't lost an engagement this badly sooner.

Summary
First Aid makes the two kilometer hike under the cover of dense, temperate rainforest. The sun filtering through the high canopy is beautiful, water puddling in old stumps, the old growth covered in deep green moss, fungi, and climbing vines. As he approaches his destination, some of the tension eases. There's so much sensor data to parse that his processor releases some of the resources devoted to tending his low-level dissatisfaction. The sky, pale and clear where he can see it through gaps in the outstretched branches, makes the day seem brighter.
The war is over. First Aid finds a dirty Decepticon.
