    "You lied," said Gamora, unaccusingly. "You said that you were 'just Loki,' but you're not. You're Prince Loki Odinson of Asgard, right?"

    Loki wasn't stunned by her declaration. "No," he contradicted, "not anymore." Then he considered what he'd said. "Forget what I just said," he amended, "I was never an Odinson in the first place."

    Pre-Avengers. Gamora is a remorseless assassin. She has been trained as a weapon, skilled in the art of killing. She is the adopted daughter of Thanos, and she, of all people, shouldn't be feeling pity. Especially not for the Asgardian Thanos pulled from the Void...

    -THE LIESMITH-

    Loki didn't know when he'd been reduced to such humiliation.

    Here he was, back at the home of those cursed Avengers, with Thor, who was practically pleading with the mortals to allow Loki to stay. And too add to that, Odin didn't seem content with just disarming him physically before he left Asgard. No, the one eyed fool--he seemed to be running into them a lot lately--stripped him of his lies.

    How on earth was he going to get out of this embarrassing situation? Whatever.

    He was Loki.

    He'd think of something.
