V and Uzi got into another fight. If he thought he was surprised, he'd be lying to himself. His friends bickered often, that much was well-established, but they would get into fights on occasion. This time, though, they really damaged each other. So much so that neither of them could go out to hunt and replenish the oil they'd spilled.
He wasn't angry. Just a little frustrated.

"How exactly does that work?" Ritsu inquires passively, not properly looking in Shou's direction as he materializes out of thin air next to him.
Shou offers no answer, instead shoving his face into Ritsu's (clearly insignificant) personal space and over his desk, "What're you workin' on?" His palm rests on the table, fingers curling along a piece of paper and leaving a crumple mark that makes Ritsu wince.
"Homework," A groan from Shou and a beat of silence from Ritsu, before he continues, "You didn't answer my question. How's your invisibility work?"

N thought as he examined the utterly wrecked pieces of spaceship littered across the ground and dangling precariously along the edges of the cliff. he could hear the familiar thrumming of a disassembly drone's core echoing across the hills, but his infrared vision did nothing for him -- he couldn't spot any drone nearby, worker or not. even so, someone (other than V or J,) must have been here recently, as the fresh scent of oil in the air causing his nanite-neutralizing glands to activate. he prowled further into the mountain, rounder dexterous digits switched out for blades -- just in case.

the perfectly pitched hum of his wings slowed to a stop as he swerved down to the ground, landing with a muted squelch. he winced and cautiously raised a foot, sucking in a breath at the barely recognizable corpse of a worker drone that lay disfigured at his feet. tassles of dead-grey organic matter were wrapped painfully tight around the drone's crooked neck and scattered in irregular strips across the inky snow, trailing off behind some splintered trees in the distance.
he took one last piteous glance at the carnage that had been wrought before blazing back into the sky to follow the trail some more. she had to be nearby -- the oil was still fresh, after all.

HELLO... first proper non-friend-related fic on here :) i hope this isn't TOOO cringe... it's essentially going to be a bunch of (very) short stories surrounding uzi's "documentary" on murder drone behaviors. there's gonna be some of my head canons in here and stuff, and i'm not that experienced yet with writing their dialogue so i'm sorry if its *horribly* out of character hahahaha...
the recording flickers on, revealing a rather short looking drone with purple hair and eyes. she sat quietly in a pilot's chair and wore a neutral expression, fidgeting ever so slightly with her hands as she began to speak.
"hello, i'm uzi. i'm the primary narrator of this series i'll call... uh, 'murder drones, misconceptions and corrections.' or something, i don't know. it's a work in progress." she raises her hands and gestures vaguely, suddenly looking a little more nervous than before.
