Soulmates are a deep concept for Fennec Foxes. So much so that they, by existence, choose to only love one person romantically which gets chosen by a mark that appears on their skin after they turn 18. Some say it's a very romantic trait and the definition of fate while on rare occasions, it just brings suffering. Tighnari gets his mark and instantly know who it defines. It's unfortunately not a lucky thing for him.
