Megumi just wanted to test his stealth capabilities against a special grade sorceror. And he wasn't going to go to Gojo. So he thought testing his shadow melding skills against Yuuta Okkotsu was the better idea. Unfortunately for him, he forgot Yuuta had a boyfriend. And that sometimes boyfriends did things when they thought they were alone.
That would be bad enough on its own, but it's just Megumi's poor luck that that boyfriend happened to be the one guy around with cursed speech.
AKA Megumi gets trapped watching his friends have sex, all while they're unaware someone else is in the room with them. Because of this, Inumaki is not careful about his noises.

It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.
