“Satoru… Kiyotaka was just telling me how he was supposed to be meeting a date here but got stood up,” Kento purrs softly, his gaze heated.
Satoru hums and reaches out to brush his fingers through the stranger’s, Kiyotaka’s, dark hair and is surprised at how soft it is. A strangled, miserable little squeak escapes Kiyotaka and Satoru’s grin only grows wider.
So sensitive.
“That’s too bad,” he croons, leaning in towards Kiyotaka until their faces are close enough to touch. “For them, anyways.”

In 2025, Bucky is stolen from his happy life living and working with Sam and sent back to his Hydra cell in 1945.
Both of them love Sam, and both of them are trying to get back to where they belong without destroying the universe.

“Shit,” Sam says, staring at the thin golden ring on his finger. He blinks quickly, like he’s pushing through it all: the hangover, the too-bright sunlight, the pure insanity of this moment. Bucky watches the dark curl of his eyelashes, staring for just a second too long.
Sam blinks again, then starts to laugh. “Shit. Well, I guess we’ll have to file for annulment.”
And maybe it’s the leftover buzz of the alcohol, or maybe it’s the way that Sam has started to feel like safety to him, but something makes Bucky blurt it out; he clears his throat and says, “Yeah, or we could just stay married.”

In the course of a day, Sam and Bucky help Steve figure out how he can get out of his frustrating cycle of missions, everyone has some good talks, and Bucky gets to compete with his past self for Sam's affection. It's a good time, except for the parts that are absolutely horrible.
