Summary
She's flitted through countless timelines, met too many versions of Loki to count--but none of them are her Loki. Even when they look like him, sound like him, move like him, she knows they're not really him. She can see it in their eyes. She'll never forget the way that Loki had looked at her just before they kissed, the way his eyes had glistened with tears as he begged her to believe that he just wanted her to be okay.
It's laughable just how not okay she is now, but that's all right. She has all the time in the world to work with, and she's always had a bit of a stubborn streak. So she pushes on and clutches her newfound regrets to her chest, hunching forward from the weight of them as she tries to figure out how a person is meant to live with the ghosts of the words they never said and the things they wish they could change.

“Is it alive?” Jungkook asks, turning the sand dollar over in his hand. It’s damp and gritty from where Seokjin had picked it from the sand. Jungkook has never seen a sand dollar in person before—he doesn’t ever remember seeing one at this beach, but maybe Seokjin has a talent for finding them.
Seokjin shakes his head. “You can tell because the living ones have spines—they fall off when they die.” He goes on to explain more about the creature, about its color and size and habitat, but only the last part sticks with Jungkook: “They’re supposed to be good luck.”
The one where Jungkook figures out the time loop, and everything begins to fall apart.
