Summary
“Yechan. One thing I’ve learned in my short composing career is that you rarely get there. You just have to learn to love your music even when you can still see flaws in it.”
Yechan stares at Sangyeop, forcing himself to absorb his advice. He notices the dark circles under Sangyeop’s eyes, the state of his messy bangs peeking from under the baseball cap he’s wearing, a stain of the soup they’d quickly had earlier now adorning his unwashed hoodie. His eyes move down to his own pajama pants, two sets of worn out slippers thrown around the room, the trash can overflowing with takeout coffee cups and snack wrappers.
“How do you know when to stop?” he whispers.
Yechan and Sangyeop meet each other over and over again, going through every season, every change of weather, every album preparation, every life challenge side by side as colleagues, friends, brothers and soulmates.

Summary
There's something so sinful about the way the blindfold covers half of Yechan’s face. His lips look even more inviting, glistening pink and soft and so eager to get to work. Sangyeop would even find the tip of his nose peeking out from the blindfold cute, under different circumstances. Right now, however, there's nothing cute about the way his own hips are rapidly thrusting into Yechan's mouth, hands buried in his curly hair to keep him still.
When they're on stage, Yechan puts on a show for the audience. When they're alone, Sangyeop gets to enjoy the view all to himself.

The rest of the world has melted away and it’s just the two of them and the couch they’re sitting on, and Junho wishes it could never end. He could go through another five hundred years as a vampire if he got to spend them with Minhyun in his arms, with his tongue sweeping at his bottom lip while Junho tries not to smile into the kiss.

Summary
Akk knows that lying is bad, he knows that Theo will eventually find out, but the words just don’t seem to be able to leave his mouth whenever Theo talks about his parents and how in love they are. He talks about them like they’re characters in a novel, like nothing could ever come between them and that’s the kind of love Theo seeks for himself.
Theo dreams of a soulmate who will always be a parallel line to him, and sometimes Akk feels the exact opposite. He’s so different from him he feels like a perpendicular line, an obstacle placed in front of Theo’s future. -

Theo is back home, and at first Akk wonders if they’re allowed to just go back to how they used to be, he wonders if they’ll ever be as close and comfortable as they once were. He wonders in how many ways Theo has changed while growing up in a different city, in a different country, on the other side of the world. He wonders if they’ll still be able to get along as well as they used to, effortlessly and spontaneous.

Ten asks him to catsit, so Johnny goes straight to Taeyong’s room to get some advice and words of reassurance from someone who Knows About Animals, and his leader reminds him that cats are notoriously independent and would probably be fine even if Johnny did absolutely nothing for the entire time. Johnny would agree, he knows that much about cats too, but they’re Ten’s cats.

Because Mark shouldn’t have to put effort into figuring out what Kit is feeling all the time; because Mark deserves better. And Kit wants to be better, for Mark, he’ll be better this time.

Kit remembers the first days when they still fought over it, when Kit would pretend he was in a hurry just to hear Mark beg for a kiss. They're way past it now, both too aware of each other's feelings to be able to put up such an act. They still argue and bicker on a daily basis, but there's no heat behind it. It's just how they talk to each other. Kit can't stand being sweet and cute around Mark, it makes his skin crawl. Mark knows. Mark likes it, he said. Mark also said he wouldn't want Kit to change into someone he's not. Mark loves Kit for who he is, and that's why Kit can't leave his bed in the morning.

Summary
Johnny's chest has always felt weirdly hollow, like a part of him is missing or has been taken away; Johnny's dreams have always been that way too. For as long as he can remember, he has dreamed of a mountainous landscape, bright green forests covering its valleys and a crystal clear river snaking through them. When he sleeps, his chest doesn't feel as hollow. He feels warm and at ease between the boats sailing on the water, free and happy soaring through the rocky peaks like an eagle. He just wishes he could feel the same way when he's awake.
hiraeth: that feeling of homesickness for a place you have never been, somewhere you cannot return to, or something that never existed in the first place
