Summary
Stiles is using the copy machine to make posters for the Halloween bash the store will be throwing on that haunted day, when Peter comes in. Peter does not work here. Peter works in a fancy lawyer's office downtown, doing mergers and scamming old people out of their pensions or something of that nature. Stiles doesn't know, he makes it a point not to care. Not that Peter dresses like a lawyer, with his v-necks and motorcycle jackets and criminally tight jeans.
"Stiles," Peter says, tilting his sunglasses down his nose to give Stiles a once over. "Are ironic t-shirts all you own?"
Stiles screws his face up in fake laughter. His t-shirt has a black lineart illustration of a fish with a 1920s style gun and fedora, surrounded by text that reads 'I partied with the Mobb, 1997 IBC Convention, Richmond Virginia'.

Summary
Tom is a classically handsome Midwest butch; broad shoulders, short cropped hair. The kind of woman Greg might fail to chat up in a lesbian bar. But she seems like someone who tries too hard, given the way she's been interacting with Logan. Her laugh is pitchy and forced, she looks uncomfortable in her own skin. Standing next to Shiv, they look like they've had a conversation about intimacy in front of the family and opted not to demonstrate any at all. That being said, it's nice not to be the only tall woman around, even if Greg is still the tallest of them all.

When Tom comes home to find Greg using the SmartTV to watch videos on how to flog someone correctly, he considers that perhaps this entire endeavour is more serious than he first believed. He immediately sequesters himself to the ensuite to sit on the rim of the bath, negotiating between his first instinct, which is to hyperventilate into a paper bag, and his second, which is to jerk off in a surreptitious and shameful manner. He's fifteen again, home from hockey practice and pressing on a leg bruise while biting the heel of his hand.
