This. THIS FIC. I still haven't fully caught up with it yet because I'm GENUINELY AFRAID to, but I WILL, because I think about this work of art literally every day. I just need to get into a more secure frame of mind for it because it is so DELICIOUSLY HEAVY. The dove is clearly very dead but for some reason it smells heavenly anyway and I will eat it regardless of how rotten it gets and how unwell I will feel 🤣 yes I said what I said 😤 because the hurt feels so good and lonibal is a GENIUS 😩 it inspired so much of my main hp fic like convincing me Harry would never respect Ginny or anyone that associates with the Daily Prophet (a hill I'll die on), and Harry desperately needing to not be an Auror cause he deserves to be happy, and his Voldemort-inspired-shield-charms (hilarious, seriously), and the brief bit of magical tourism (which was so much fun; well not so much for harry in this fic 😬), and oh my god the long-term effects of war, grief (ooohhh the GRIEF), and childhood trauma on Harry as an adult. lonibal is truly so bloody good at what they do here. It absolutely blows me away. I feel like I've learned so much from reading this fic beyond just honing my writing skills. This fic is so so important to me.

Absolutely feking perfect story so gorgeous it send me out of orbit. I've never even shipped Harry/Ron particularly but it was so good I couldn't not absolutely love them it was so impeccable. The time loop stuff was just wonderful. Absolute classic.
