Gregor feels stupid the instant he says it. Of course she didn't do that. Even though Ishmael had put the idea in his head, she hadn't been serious. Gregor's overreacting and making connections that aren't there.
Ryōshū shrugs. "He asked."

"Keep her busy!" Heathcliff shouts, steadying himself and hoisting his rifle up to a firing position.
"<No, don't shoot!>" shouts the clock-headed individual. Hong Lu risks looking away from the disoriented monster to throw a quick glance in Heathcliff's direction, and he finds his subordinate visibly hesitating—expression conflicted, fingers frozen in the process of reloading his rifle. Whatever power of compulsion is in play here, it's affecting them both.
But like hell is Hong Lu going to stand around and let that thing attack Heathcliff again.

“What are you talking about?” Grace's fingers played quick chords as he spoke. He didn’t even look as he did it, but it did not make them any less purposeful.
“Discussing possible reasons why Tau Ceti is not infected while other stars are,” Eva replied deftly. “I would invite you to join, but we were just finishing—”
“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

Summary
It's not jealousy. Adrian is adamant about that. They are actually insisting that it’s not any emotion at all. Not even dislike. They are simply completely uninterested in anything that concerns “the human”.
Rocky believes them. Adrian has always been the level-headed one out of the two of them. They are too logical to be jealous. They acknowledge that Grace and Rocky have a special bond after everything they went through together and also understand that none of that will ever pose a threat to their relationship.
Neither are they heartless or ungrateful. They know that Grace is the only reason that Rocky is back at all, the only reason their star has stopped dying. Adrian has told Rocky again and again that they are grateful and happy and wish the alien no ill will. They even helped with the construction of the biodome.
And yet they have no desire to get to know Grace.
