Bakugou Masaru knows that there isn’t a man in this world who adores his son more than himself. He doesn’t need to be overprotective of Katsuki. His son can handle himself. Masaru was naïve in thinking that time ticks by slowly. In comes Todoroki Shouto who sweeps Katsuki off his feet under Masaru’s guiding eyes.
Todoroki Rei loves her youngest son and she knows that she should be happy that Shouto has found love in Bakugou Katsuki. And she is. It also makes her look back at her own romance with sadness, and fuel her to take control of her own life with determination.
Bakugou Mitsuki has always been confident in her son. She knows that he can reach great heights. Mitsuki stands tall and proud even when other parents talk about them behind their backs, she holds Katsuki in her arms late at night even when the principal calls her out on Katsuki’s behaviour.
Todoroki Enji knows how hard it is to be a hero. And he knows how difficult it is to be a hero who can keep up with their own ideals when it seems like the world is attacking him for simply breathing. He knows that heroes are there to protect civilians, and he hopes, that he can be a hero who can protect heroes too. TodoBaku.

It would've been kind of cute, Midoriya guesses, just a cute and innocent attraction, a simple teenage crush or the first puppy love.
It would've been cute if it were anyone else but it happened to involve one Bakugou Katsuki, especially with respect to one Todoroki Shouto.
In one corner there's a flammable ice wall. The other corner a combustionable explosive. And stuck in the middle, is Midoriya.
Midoriya really doesn't deserve all this.

So that was your theory, until it wasn’t.”
Shouto remembers that now, with dirt beneath his fingernails.
It’s a dream.
It’s a dream, because Katsuki is alive, and Shouto wakes up, and he’s not there.

Something expands in Shouto’s chest, just a little, at that.
Bakugou is still looking at him. There’s something a little strange about his gaze. It’s searching—demanding—but that’s not new; Bakugou Katsuki has always looked at him like Shouto still has more to give.
The day his world changes for the nth time, Shouto wakes up to banging on his door, Bakugou Katsuki’s voice, and a yet-unnoticed letter slipped onto tatami floor.

The way Bakugou pokes his chopsticks towards the bars would be intimidating if his hair wasn’t ruffled and he hadn’t gone out of his way to be here. It’s getting close to midnight now - he could be anywhere else, he could be asleep at home. But regardless, he has chosen to be here.

Izuku already lost it all. He lost Kacchan, and something like that never really heals. He could not lose Shouto, too.
Thankfully, Shouto isn’t dead, not completely. He's some kind of a ghost, looking down on his body that still clings to life, while his soul clings to Izuku. And he isn't the only one hanging on.
Turns out, Bakugou is still here, too.
Or, how ghost Katsuki helps kick Shouto back to the world of the living so that Izuku won't have to grieve another dead boyfriend. At least, he insists that's the reason.
Hell, maybe he can even be a hero one last time.
