I can’t lose you. It’d kill me.”
“You worry too much,” Jeno kisses the corner of his mouth. “You can’t lose me. We’ve come too far.”

at the age of twenty two, he was still leaning over the toilet bowl with agitated fists gripping either side of the white porcelain. he leaned back and wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his sweatshirt and the sweat on his forehead with the back of his hand. a frustrated huff left him as he got up to brush his teeth for a second time that night.
