  3. Summary

Brian looks at John, and sees in him every wonder and every mystery of the universe he ever studied with awe; all bottled down into a bassist with the loveliest, otherwordly smile.

John looks at Brian, and there's an electricity that shakes his being and makes him long, like with his electronics, to put his hands on the man with the starry eyes and gently uncover him bit by bit.

or; John and Brian finally find themselves at each other's side. they're happy, they're autistic and they're very much in love.

    Summary

Dori certainly would not have set off on a quest with twelve hobs if he hadn't thought his bearing years were far behind him. His body, however, has other ideas, and he soon finds himself with one last chance to indulge in everything he's spent a lifetime putting off for the sake of his family.

Or, the one in which Bilbo learns that you ought not to meddle in the (love) affairs of dwarves, for they are subtle and involve group sex.

    Summary

"Now it is a strange thing, but things that are good to have and days that are good to spend are soon told about, and not much to listen to; while things that are uncomfortable, palpitating, and even gruesome, may make a good tale, and take a deal of telling anyway" – The Hobbit, A Short Rest

According to Bilbo Baggins' writings, the Company of Thorin Oakenshield spent two weeks in Rivendell – two weeks that Thorin and his Dwarvish companions would prefer not to talk about.

After a particular spell goes awry, Bilbo and Gandalf are suddenly saddled with thirteen baby Dwarves. They can only return to normal at the end of fourteen days. The real problem is that they age up every three days.

It's one thing to handle babies, but can Bilbo and Gandalf deal with troublesome Dwarf toddlers, unruly children, rebellious and broody teenagers, and spirited young adults in the space of fourteen days?

    Summary

Bilbo Baggins came home one sunny spring day exhausted, half starved and pregnant. His heart was broken, his name cursed by the dwarves he had saved and his house was on auction by the worst relative you could imagine. It was, understandably, a terrible day.
Once it comes out that Bilbo is *expecting,* however, even the most prim and proper hobbits are scandalised at the poor treatment he received by the conspicuously absent father (and, by extension, all his kind). The Shire rallies around their poor, ill-treated and half-starved kinsman, and the climate of dwarvish relations takes a decidedly chilly turn.

    Summary

First they trooped into Rivendell, slovenly and foul-mouthed and just altogether Dwarvish. Then it was the disastrous dinner, where he had to stand back and watch as they threw food all over the place (and nearly at his head). Then they had the gall to desecrate one of the fountains by bathing in it!

But now? Now he has to contend with these Dwarves committing acts of debauchery, finding them in all sorts of compromising positions from the library to the wine cellars?

What did Lindir ever do to deserve this?
