Why is their mortal god, Ultimate-Seer A, not fixing this? Nothing is ever supposed to go wrong in Clock Gears.

Shiver has a lot of problems at the moment. She’s been stranded on an uninhabited island somewhere in the middle of nowhere. She’s no longer certain where her next meal is coming from. She is afraid of taking ill, as she does not have a hospital to go to should this occur. She has lost most of the clothes she packed, and what few outfits remain she is not certain how to wash. She does not know if she will ever see civilization again. She does not know if she will ever see her family again. She does not know if she will ever see her precious sharks again.
Chief among them, of course, is the fact that that stupid fucking mechanic will not stop strutting about stark fucking naked, and it’s making her go fucking feral.

Frye Onaga has had the biggest crush on her classmate Shiver Hohojiro for the longest time ever. One day Frye decides that it’s a good idea to go for a quick snack that’s until she finds out Shiver works there.
Shiver just got a new job after being fired of her last one for “scaring costumers away” or whatever that means. Now she’s stuck in a job she hates, but after meeting a certain someone they start to thinking that maybe it’s not so bad after all.

I remember wearing that dress, even on days it made me uncomfortable in my own skin, just because it was a lil' airier than pants. An' it didn't help how the exposed skin made me more susceptible to mosquitoes either.

You’ve been on the surface for three months by now. Three months, a week, and two days. You should be able to take everything you’ve bought out of the bags, remove the plastic and sort it out for the next day. You need to pack your bag. You need to make dinner. You need to make tomorrow’s lunch. You need to lay out an outfit for the next morning that doesn’t scream ‘I’ve never had this much in my life and I have no idea what to do with it’.
Camouflage is an inherent biological defense mechanism, vital for survival. The proper colours can turn you into anything you need to escape detection. The brown-grey of a cliff overhang. The muddy green of a kelp patch. Something to keep you safe while you sleep. You want to bury yourself in the sandy floor of the shallows and stay there, low and quiet, where you’ll become another inanimate fixture of the sea.
