Summary
When Dream first managed to get his license, the purpose of driving delved into more than just driving. While he grew to like the freedom of driving on his own, he soon learned to love the feeling of doing things for his parents if they were busy, making short trips to any place if they needed something. It turned into a deed he could do to make their lives easier.
He supposes that’s why he agreed to take George out when the other asked him.
Either that, or it has something to do with the fact that it was George who asked.
George, who muttered quietly to himself in the passenger seat while he slept despite being the one to ask to go out late. George, who Dream has found to be incredibly hard to look away from.

Summary
Karl and Sapnap's wedding was perfect, from the beautiful church to the cute colour scheme to the specially crafted wedding playlist. It was so perfect that it pissed George off.
His best friends were getting married, moving on with their lives and being adults. And George? He was at a table in the corner accompanied only by an empty glass of wine and watching as the man he’s hopelessly in love with is competing to see who can pick up the most girls.
But maybe, just maybe, with the help of the wedding fever coursing through the air, everything might go right for once.

The blaring thump of George's heart serves as an alarm, reminding him that where he crossed this line the first time there was reason. There was alcohol intoxicating his fingertips as they wound through Dream's hair, there was the excuse of a dumb college party where everyone hooks up with anyone, and there was Dream's sticky and sweet gaze on him, luring him in.
Dream's tugged away from the soft yellow glow of the hallway into the dim, shadow-plagued room, and George welcomes him lips-first.
How could this be a bad idea when Dream's lips feel like that?
Or, George's one-night stand with his least favorite person turns into a little more than that.

“ ‘M alright. Dream helped me find you!” Ben exclaims, big smile on his face.
The man looks more than a little concerned. “You had a dream that helped you find me?”
Ben shakes his head. “No, Dream!” He points directly at Dream and the man seems to notice him for the first time.
When he looks over, Dream gets a proper look at his face for the first time and holy shit. Dream absently thinks that Ben should have included “DILF” in his description of his dad because that’s what he is. He’s a DILF, he’s a twink, and he’s exactly Dream’s type.

Without opening his eyes, Dream smiles under George’s soft hands. “Well, I haven’t shaved since this morning. Why were you imagining touching my face, anyway?”
George doesn’t reply, and maybe that’s what gives Dream the confidence to say what he says next.
“Maybe you should kiss me, too. Just to see if that lives up to your imagination.”
George arrives in Florida. It takes four days to film the meetup vlog, and only three for Dream to completely lose his mind.

George grins at him. “You love me,” he says.
Dream takes those words in his mind. He flips them upside down, turns them inside out, rearranges them until they’re gibberish, but he still doesn’t understand what George meant. You love me, George had said. You love me, you love me, you love me.
You’re my favourite person in the world, Dream wants to tell him. Of course I love you.
For Dream, this summer is composed of three things: unbearable heat, a vlogging camera, and a road trip with George across the United States. Stuck in their van, Dream is finally forced to confront the feelings for George that he's been repressing for years.
It feels like torture.

Summary
Dream braces his hand against the open shelf, taking a second to breathe and try and orient himself with the sniffling infant on his arm; it doesn’t work well, and he finds that focusing is hard and breathing is getting even harder. He’s overtired and confused, head aching in the early hour of the morning and making thinking ever so difficult.
He doesn’t know what to do.
Dream was told how hard the teething stage was and he really thought he was prepared for it but sometimes it gets a little too hard on his own. George always says that he doesn't mind coming over, and Dream just hopes that offer to stay would last a little longer than just a panicked phone call at two in the morning.

So George had a problem. A problem he knew it was one, but never dared to say out loud before. Dream could tell something was wrong, and as usual, wanted to help. But this wasn't something he could fix for him, was it?
“Well, there’s nothing you can do,” he said, shrugging.
“Well, I mean… Technically…” The brunet raised an eyebrow.
“What?” His friend let out an awkward laugh.
“You need a heat partner,” Dream pointed out. Then, he pointed at himself. “I’m an alpha.”
At first, the omega didn’t see the relation between both statements. But the moment it clicked, his cheeks instantly turned red, huffing and looking away.
“You’re such an idiot,” he let out. “Stop messing around.”
“I’m not, I’m not! I’m being deadass.”
George blinked a few times, before huffing again, expecting him to laugh and say he was kidding. But he didn’t.
“So what? What does that mean?” He pressed. Because there’s no way the boy was actually suggesting that. “You would just, fuck me?”
“If that’s what you needed.” The alpha shrugged, as if the conversation was normal.
