The sun was warm on their skin, and endless amounts of trees seemed to surround them in this clearing that they were stood in. Just a few feet away, there was one of those cutouts where they could put their faces in the holes of the characters on it. Phil was just about to turn to Dan and ask him to go over and take photos at it when a strangers voice cuts through to him,
“Hey, cool hat!” The man says, who sounds like he is a tourist as well from Australia. At least, that’s what Phil picks up on when ‘cool’ sounds more like ‘kewl’.
“Oh, thank you!” He replies, smiling.
“Where’d you get it from?”
Phil glances to his side, where Dan is now staring dead at him with a look that says ‘Lie, Please God lie,’ and it only makes Phil’s grin wider,
“Actually, it’s from my boyfriend’s show!”
aka Dan and Phil on their vacation & someone asks Phil about his We're All Doomed hat and he (embarrasses) brags about Dan.

Summary
The first folder consisted of a number of pictures, and he clicked on one at random. It was an old, very grainy photo of him and his brother, pulling funny faces, and Phil smiled. So it was one of those drives. He enlarged the photo, and the distorted faces turned even weirder. He must have been around twenty in the picture, and he looked so much different from now. It felt like a blast from the past. Judging by the dates he managed to see, most of the contents were from around that time.
(Inspired by that episode of Hard Launch where they talk about the videos from the old hard drive. What else could be there?)

Summary
Dan and Phil were practically living on top of each other. No not in a sexy way but in the rather literal sense. They were stuck in a one bedroom apartment with abysmal space and boxes stacked so haphazardly on top of each other all it took was one wrong shimmy for a twin towers situation. After more than a decade of being with the man Dan could comfortably say he loved him but in this moment he hated him the slightest bit more.
Basically Dan and Phil having a bit of a domestic back in their London apartment during covid.

Dan is invited to yet another infamous Lester family holiday, but doesn't quite fancy trying to hide his relationship for a week. Phil, ever the peacemaker, suggests not hiding it and letting his family come to the conclusion themselves. It's not like his parents or brother would out them to the world, is it?
Cue an awkward plane ride, multiple stares and his boyfriends lack of help, Dan finds himself in for a lot more than he bargained for.
And the funniest part? they knew all along anyway.
In short: Dan and Phil try to come out to Phil's parents on holiday but they actually already know.

So he knows. Great.
The only thing worse than coming in your pants like a pubescent school boy at the thought of being drained of every last drop of blood, is the guy who was sucking your blood to notice.
Dan really needs some money to pay his rent. Phil really needs blood to survive. It's a pretty good deal, and Dan gets a lot more than he bargained for.
