Summary
Neil had a lot of secrets. He didn’t want much in life except to live quietly, run his botanical store, upload TikToks covering plant care, and for not a single person to find out that he’s the best-selling author N.A.J who published one book anonymously five years prior and disappeared. His life takes a turn when his literary agent tracks him down for a follow-up book with the theme of feeling settled and at peace. Two things Neil is not.
Thus begins his journey of planting roots in a town he’s lived in for years, starting with making friends with people who have tried to bring him into their circle. As Neil gets closer to them and his secrets become less guarded, there’s still that one big secret he intends on taking to his grave. But the closer he gets to his friends the closer he unknowingly gets to that secret being revealed.

Andrew didn’t move to stop him.Near the end of Neil’s last year at Palmetto, an outbreak of a disease, nicknamed the Brazilian Fever, throws the world into anarchy when the diseased bodies that started piling up acquired a hunger for flesh. With so much on the line, Neil and the rest of the Foxes decide Palmetto isn’t safe anymore. While decked out in orange and Exy sticks, there’s zombies, violence, enemies dead and alive, and the underlying need for survival.

The Angel shakes his head. “T- The kid doesn’t know anything,” he says, and it almost sounds like a plea. “I swear.”
“Tommy,” the man prompts again, “Tell me the identities of The Syndicate, then you're free to go."
Tommy freezes.
“I’m sorry?” He sputters.
“He doesn’t know!” Siren shouts.
“Do you seriously expect me to believe that?!"

or, Tommy gets kidnapped by people who want to know the identities of The Syndicate. Only problem is, he has no idea, and is starting to worry that Wilbur, Techno, and Phil will be wondering where he is by now.

Wilbur frowns, but it's Techno who steps forward. "Tommy, he's not going to do anything," Techno tells him cautiously. "You don't need to worry, alright?"
To you, Tommy would say, if he was stronger. He's not going to do anything to you.
But he doesn't. Tommy keeps his mouth shut—whatever it takes to stay.
When Techno and Wilbur Soot-Watson anger a bully, it shouldn't be an issue. They are as untouchable as they can get, for students anyway.
It's unfortunate that Tommy, their foster brother, isn't. Being their soft spot, it only makes sense that he becomes the next target.

That’s my line, Tommy’s heart mumbles. That’s my hell.
But his mouth manages to shape the words, even if his heart refuses to believe them.

The world was grey and empty, and Tommy was only making it worse.
Each step felt like he was locking himself further and further into his decision until he was just a few steps away. Already he could feel the humming reaching up from the ground and becoming a part of him, just like his dream had foretold.
One step, two.
It almost didn’t feel real, but he knew it was in the way his heart was beating frantically in his chest – the way his toes were pinched in his shoes and how the tag of his hoodie itched his neck.
He stepped forward. Silence.
He woke up.
Tommy just wants to stay dead; the universe and his family object.

The prince shakily sits next to him. He smiles brightly, charming despite the blood that stains the front of his shirt. Red and gold mixed together. Tommy tries growling, but he hiccups instead. It’s- it’s so unfair. Things shouldn’t have ended up like this.
The human raises his hand and Tommy slams his eyes shut, awaiting pain, but his hand just rests gently on top of Tommy’s head.
“Hello, I am Prince Wilbur of the Antarctic Empire,” The human runs his hand through Tommy’s hair, “and you are now tied to me.”

Or, dragon hearts are known to give humans the closest thing to immortality by binding two lives together, and King Dream had taken Tommy's heart to evade his death for hundreds of years. The boy's life is flipped when the Antarctic Emperor kills Dream and Tommy's life is bound to Prince Wilbur's.
He may not be free, but Wilbur is much nicer than Dream ever was.

“Help!”
The scream rang like metal through the empty streets, followed rapidly by the sound of rubber soles slapping against the pavement.
Technoblade’s axe was in his hand before he really registered it. Chat leapt ahead of him, reaching through the shadows to surround the kid on a dead sprint towards him.
The kid only nearly managed to avoid slamming into Technoblade with the full force of his sprint. He was panting as he skidded to a stop, his pale cheeks flushed as he stared up at Technoblade.
“You’re the Blade.”
Technoblade ignored his stunned declaration. He caught the kid by the shoulder, yanking him behind him and shielding him with his body. “What is it?” he demanded, peering into the darkness. “What’s wrong?”
The kid shrugged off his grip.
“Oh, it’s fine,” he said nonchalantly, as if his voice wasn’t still hoarse from screaming bloody murder. “There’s no one there.”
Technoblade blinked. Every hair still stood on end until he took in the boy’s words. “What?”
“There's no one there,” the kid repeated impatiently. “I just needed your attention.”
Or, three times Tommy cries wolf, and one time he means it.

Summary
Tommy was miles from home, bloody and panting, stumbling through the dirty streets as he did his best to cover his tracks. There was no doubt in his mind that Dream would be after him, and this time, he wouldn’t take so long to kill him.
Tommy couldn’t do this anymore. He wished the heroes had killed him the moment they first caught him. Even now, having escaped, he wanted to die. He just didn’t want to be alone as he did it.
But he had nothing and no one. He was alone.
His exhausted mind drifted to the only people he deemed important enough to want to be close to.
He wanted to die. Siren, the Blade, and the Angel of Death wanted to kill him. It was a match made in heaven.
And anyway, what was one more chase?

It was then the Pythia looked down at the hand outstretched between them. The prosthetic was made of intricately carved metal, covered in vines and flowers twisting together with the shimmer of enchantments reflecting in the purple glow.
And although the guard’s sleeve was covering his wrist, he knew that in the place where metal met flesh, there was a pair of dark angel wings tattooed on his skin.
He was right. This wasn’t a real guard.
This was a Deathling.
or, Wilbur is an oracle known as the Pythia, chosen to receive dreams of the future from the goddess Clara. One day, he receives a dream warning him that during a ball Emperor Schlatt is hosting, the Deathlings—terrorists who worship the goddess of Death—will launch an attack. When his warning goes ignored, he knows there's going to be consequences.
He doesn't expect one of those consequences to include him getting kidnapped by a teenager.

Summary
Tommy's called Blindspot for a reason. He’s not invisible, as he’s reminded Dream time and time again - people can definitely see him. They just don’t notice. He blends into plain sight, totally diverting all attention like water off of a duck.
Usually, anyway. Orpheus, however, stiffens a little as Tommy draws nearer. He starts glancing around, as if struck by sudden paranoia. Tommy draws up in front of him, staff clenched in one hand, and Orpheus starts turning as if to check behind him.
“What’s that,” Orpheus mutters. “Who’s there-“
Tommy pulls his staff back and slams it into Orpheus’s stomach, hard.
Orpheus stumbles. He wheezes, choking, and then looks up at Tommy and fixes him with a burning stare.
“Who the fuck are you,” Orpheus says, eyes wild and oddly delighted. “Where were you hiding?”

Suspected of betraying the Hero Guild, Apprentice hero Tommy (A.K.A. Blindspot) is put under Security Protocol Catbag: a locked-on noise cancelling mask equipped with truth gas. His mentor, Dream, calls it a necessary teaching tool.
Meanwhile, SBI wants to know why their least favorite loudmouth little Hero has suddenly stopped talking.
