“Just… Could I- Would it be, um, like, weird if I wanted to just touch you?”
“Would it be weird if my husband and the father of my child wanted to touch me?” Felix asked, tone flat. Chan ducked his head with embarrassment, feeling awkward.
”I mean, just touching. Not, er, necessarily sexually or anything. Just sort of-“
”Touching,” the blonde finished for him. Chan looked up through his lashes, unsure what kind of reaction he’d get to such a request. He didn’t think it would be bad - Lix was never cruel and he wouldn’t make him feel disgusting or rejected. He just wasn’t sure how strange his own request was given he’d never asked it of anyone. Nobody had asked it of him either.
“Ah, seriously,” Felix said and Chan hesitantly peeked at his husband’s face. Felix had his eyes squeezed shut and his lip caught between his teeth, his eyebrows pulled together in pained bliss. “If I wasn’t already pregnant… Yeah, yes,” he said, eyes fluttering open. “You can touch me, Chris. Anywhere, whatever, do whatever. Please touch me.”

Summary

“Felix,” the Pack Elder began, looking between Felix and the rest of the pack, “when we asked the gods which alpha you would be mated to, the answer surprised us. It’s been several years since the last mating where an omega left us, but today, that chain will be broken. In a day’s time, you will be leaving us to travel to your new pack with your intended, Chan Bang of the northern mountain pack.”
It was at that moment that Felix’s heart fell through his stomach. There wasn’t another omega that would be leaving them.
He was the omega that was leaving.

In Felix’s pack, omegas are to be seen and not heard and are expected to cater to their alpha’s every wish. That’s all Felix has known his whole life and doesn’t expect anything different when he learns he’s to be mated to an alpha from the intimidating pack in the north mountains. He doesn’t expect to find love, as that was always something spoken about like the myths of old, out of reach and untouchable for an omega like Felix. But what he discovers as he learns to live with his new alpha in his new pack is that maybe happiness isn’t as unattainable as he’d thought.

“Hey,” Felix’s deep voice pulls Chan out of his thoughts.
Reacting automatically, Chan’s head swivels quickly to look up at Felix, who stands over him.
“Are you staying here for the night too?” Felix asks.
Why?
“Uh… yeah,” Chan answers awkwardly.
Felix stays quiet, just continuing to look at him. Chan’s heart races nervously.
“I was thinking,” Felix says quickly, then, “since we have time, we could talk for a bit? If that’s okay with you? I just thought it would be nice to catch up some more.”
Chan nods dumbly. He watches as Felix opens his mouth to say more but gets interrupted by the man coughing again. Felix’s eyes leave Chan’s to dart over to the man uncomfortably.
“Do you want to come sit with me?” Felix asks before lowering his voice. “It’s calmer.”
While trying to fly back home for Christmas, Chan runs into Felix, his ex-boyfriend of many years. When a sudden snowstorm leaves them stranded with no way home, they agree to work together to make it back in time for Christmas.

“Yeah, well, what about omegas who get mated or claimed too late?” Felix grumbles, rolling his eyes.
“How is the day we get married too late?” Chan returns. “If I don’t have you mated and claimed within an hour of getting married, then you can complain.”
Felix can't help laughing a little.
“I’ll claim you before we get married, I promise,” Chan says, serious again. He steps closer to Felix. “I’m just waiting for the right time. I want it to be special.”
Felix and Chan are getting married soon. According to some, Chan spoils him, but Felix doesn't quite see it that way. They're just in love, and Chan likes taking care of him. What's weird about that? Chan is kind and sweet—the perfect alpha.

No necesita de un estúpido alfa, nunca lo ha necesitado, tampoco lo quiere, solo quiere un cachorro.
Y lo más fácil para tenerlo es ir a un bar y acostarse con un alfa, no le importa el alfa, solo tenía que ser uno y ya.

Felix looks exhausted, a slump to his shoulders that usually isn’t there and the usual brightness in his eyes dimmed. He had fun in Japan. Chan knows that he did. Every day Felix sent at least twenty pictures about what he was up to, but he looks miserable now, sunshine eclipsed by an aura of melancholy not usually found floating around the sun.
