Summary
Yelena was trying valiantly to adjust to the world around her, but it was harder than she thought it would be. Being abruptly yanked out of chemical subjugation had been disorienting at best and dehumanizing at worst, as she tried and failed to learn how to be a person again.
At least before the Blip, she’d had Natalia to guide her. Now, Yelena had no one.
…Or so she thought.

Summary
Kate was officially Hawkeye 2.0. She was real superhero now! But she was also a post-grad student that just got fast-tracked into becoming New York's youngest CEO. Now, at 24 years old and well-established with her team of Young Avengers, she was supposed to be kicking butt and saving lives.
She was definitely not supposed to be dragging unconscious, drunk assassins into her apartment and forcing them to become her friend, but that was what happened. Of course.

Summary
Kate had the whole night planned out. They’d have dinner first, then drinks at the same bar where they had their first date. As soon as they returned home, Kate would pop the question. It was all going to be perfect, and hopefully, they’d end the night engaged.
The night went a bit differently than expected.

Summary
Powder was seven, then. It was her first hunt, and she’d only grown in her marksmanship since that day.
By the time she was twelve, she’d almost caught up to Vi’s record when she was the same age—five does and three bucks, twenty rabbits, seventeen squirrels, and two wild hogs. At seven, she was fresh off the boat, naive and dumb. At twelve, Powder knew everything there was to know about these woods, just like Vi and Vander.
At least, she thought they knew everything.
It turned out there was a lot about the woods in Zaun they didn’t know.

Summary
Kate wasn't quite sure when Yelena became such an important part of her daily routine, but she certainly wasn't complaining. Yelena couldn't pinpoint the exact moment when Kate Bishop took priority over her addiction, but somewhere along the way, she became her new drug of choice.
If only love could make things easy.

"Baby?"
"Mmm?" Yelena hummed as she placed her knife down and turned around to answer her girlfriend, but stopped short and lost all brain function.
"Yelena?" Kate questioned as Yelena stood slack-jawed.
"Shit," Yelena whispered as she greedily drank in her girlfriend's outfit consisting of Kate's old Columbia hoodie and a pair of panties.***

Summary
"So... I've been thinking," Kate started slowly, avoiding looking at Yelena for some reason.
Yelena arched an eyebrow. "Oh, that's always dangerous."
"No, c'mon. Just hear me out, I think I have a way to get you out of this."
That piqued Yelena's interest; she had gotten used to this life and wasn't looking forward to running from the American government just because Eleanor Bishop was being petty. "Fine, but if it involves boomerang arrows, I am walking away."
"We're in your bedroom. Where would you go?"
"To your place and leave you here. I would lock you out, too."
With a sigh, Kate finally turned to look at Yelena, her face more serious than Yelena had been expecting. "We could always get married."

Summary
An entire semester later, Vi still felt like her roommate hated her. Every time she walked into their shared dorm, she was met with a glare and a huffed sigh, as though her mere presence was enough to warrant annoyance.
Vi mumbled a greeting, to which Caitlyn ignored as she walked out the door.
It wasn’t always so cold between them.
But ever since the Christmas party before the end of the year when they had drunkenly made out, it was back to icy stares and ignored greetings.
