Summary
Mondo still really dislikes Kiyotaka Ishimaru, even as the kid tries his damnedest to tutor Mondo and help him get his grades up. Mondo thought they’d reached a stalemate of sorts. However, when an argument erupts between them, Mondo challenges Ishimaru to the only thing he can prove his sheer will and perseverance through: an endurance contest in the school’s sauna.
Things are revealed about Ishimaru that Mondo never would have guessed to be true, and a newfound camaraderie arises from bonding over their similar (yet still so different) pasts.

Mondo has been dancing around his feelings towards his best friend Kiyotaka for almost three years now, but things come to a head at their graduation party. Kiyotaka agrees to relax and try alcohol for the first time under Mondo's watchful eye, but things get out of hand. It turns out Kiyotaka is a horny drunk, making things hard for Mondo as he navigates his feelings in the face of things he'd never expected from Kiyotaka. Will it turn out that Kiyotaka's behaviour is a symptom of something deeper or a passing fancy like Mondo fears?
This is my 'drunk Taka' fic, which you might have seen me posting about on Tumblr. It has 5 chapters, one chapter per week :). Updates on Wednesdays. Triggers will be placed in the chapter summaries but the characters are aged up and no sex occurs while Taka is drunk. Explicit is the overall rating but chapters will be rated individually.

Mondo Owada can deal with a lot of shit without any problem. He’s had to in order to survive. An abusive, deadbeat old man. An alcoholic, neglectful ma. The death of his older brother, the only person in this godforsaken world who has ever (and likely will ever) love him. It may have hurt like a bitch and caused him to close himself off emotionally, but he got through it and is still standing strong.
However, trying to sort out the tangled mess of emotions he feels whenever he’s around a certain red-eyed, spiky haired, and impossibly uptight Ultimate Moral Compass? Now, that just might be too much for him to handle.
