Marvin was stood, arms crossed and jaw set hard in the way that it always was when Whizzer proposed something that he believed was ludicrous. Whizzer paused, his arms crossed over themselves and gripping the hem of his t-shirt. He had just begun to slip it over his head before he stopped, dropping his shirt to the wood beneath them and looking at Marvin with a pleading gaze.
“What was the use of renting a house on the lake if you won’t even skinny dip with me, Marv!” Whizzer cried, pushing out his bottom lip, looking over his boyfriend, who just let out a lovingly exasperated sigh.

[ This was inspired by icantwrite88 and their story "Restart". I hope this isn't too close to what they've done c: ]
Life had been hell ever since Whizzer died, and Marvin can't take the sleepless nights or the constant grief anymore.
Taking matters into his own hands, along with a full bottle of ibuprofen, he ends up taking his own life and waking up in a place that certainly isn't heaven.
Realizing that he's not only got a second chance to reconcile with his ex-wife, manage to get his kid to like him, and find some common ground with Mendel, he's also got a second chance to redo his relationship with Whizzer, and hopefully, make it less toxic than it had been before.

Sometimes, Whizzer would walk outside alone. In the dark.
It gave him a thrill.
Part of the time when he would do that, he'd get attacked. Whizzer would lay on the ground until the next day, where he would limp to the subway to get home, bloodied and bruised.
He didn't need to wait this time.

The Archon Rescue Operation is going as smoothly as it possibly can — that is, until Kaveh returns prematurely from his desert trip, and runs into Alhaitham at the absolute worst possible moment.

Two years later, the Traveler claims Kaveh is seen alive, in Fontaine, seemingly without a memory of who he is, living an entirely different life.
