Summary
After the events of season two, Vox is ready to move on and forget all of that ever happened, content to lick his wounds and hide away. He's done with Alastor. This was the last straw, and he's tired of losing.
Of course, this doesn't sit well with Alastor. The sudden withdrawal of his closest enemy has made him realise just how much he actually cares for said enemy after all and now he must, in a strange role reversal, chase after him and try to get Vox to look his way. Easier said than done, and he might be too late.
He's still going to try.

Alastor has a shit day at work, which calls for a night of recovery in his secret shack in his bayou. He's known since he was alive that partnered sex is a huge waste of time. Despite his libido, he rarely experiences sexual attraction, and is content with taking care of himself. He recently starts questioning his attraction to an old pal, and impulsively calls him to see if it's worth acting on it.
Vox has cabin fever after being cooped up in the V tower for 3 months. When Alastor calls him to hang out, he's pissed but so starved of social interaction that he doesn't decline. Murder, smut, and relationship anarchy ensue.

“What do you want?”
The question was delivered on a plume of smoke, practically hotboxing the tiny studio in one breath and making Gabriel cough. He realised he’d been standing there in silence, and flinched inwardly at his own awkwardness. Not making a script was feeling more foolish with every passing moment.
“I—uh, I wanted to apologise.”
Alastor’s mouth curved in a slow, wicked grin, sending a shiver skittering from the top of Gabriel’s head all the way down to his toes. He straightened automatically, fighting the urge to drop Alastor’s gaze, where warm brown irises clashed starkly with the cold, flinty gleam that had taken up residence there.
“Apologise?” Alastor echoed, still grinning. His teeth were very straight and very white, with sharp little canines almost like a cat’s. “Whatever for?”

Rivka “River” Morningstar was not impressed by Alastor.
For one thing, he smelled. Like, really bad. As in a proper bath with soap and water might not be enough to save him at this point. For the second thing, he had terrible taste in fashion.
Now one couldn’t expect too much from a guy who died in the 30s like Alastor did, but she thought he’d at least dress better…
That old red jacket of his looked about ready to fall off of him. Surely he had better clothes. Surely.
Nevertheless, it was the ensemble that seemed practically glued to his body 24/7 and she got the feeling that she would not see him wear anything else anytime soon.

“You’re kinda spacey. Like you’ve already been drinking.”
He had. For a bit of courage—and plausible deniability, for whatever might transpire tonight.
Alastor’s response came more naturally than he cared to admit. His ears angled backwards and lowered in an undeniably submissive gesture as he turned around and said with a slight pout, “You kept me waiting.”
It had the intended effect.

The infamous Radio Demon utilizes the art of seduction to keep the influential Overlord Vox under his thumb when he begins to feel…neglected due to Vincent’s workaholic nature and blossoming success. Easy enough. Alastor played the part of the temptress long before Hell. Although to be fair, none of his victims were as starry-eyed and obsessed with him as his picture box, nor did he harbor an extremely inconvenient soft spot for them.
Basically, Alastor falls headfirst into his own trap.

Summary
Following Alastor's departure, Vincent finds himself more distraught than ever before. Nothing can fill the void the radio host left in his life. Hence why he is willing to go to any lengths to be reunited with him, turning to rituals said to enable communication with the otherworld. Even though his attempts have all been unsuccessful so far, the TV presenter doesn't plan on giving up any time soon. He is Vincent Whittman, after all, and has known nothing but victory his entire life.

“Partnership means an exchange between equal values.” Alastor says offhandedly, as if it was common knowledge. “And “boyfriend" suggests camaraderie, dates, flowers, and the like.”
Vox scoffs loudly, throwing a candy wrapper at Alastor’s head.

Making Lucifer fall is easy enough but when his hands are on him, Alastor can't help but wish they were someone else's. Someone like Vox.
