Summary

Harry’s relationship with Severus Snape is almost perfect with all the sarcasm, quips, adventurous sex, and surface level arguments he could want. What’s not perfect is Harry’s work life. The Aurors have discovered a secret: Dark Wizards around the world gather for one night a year to showcase inventions, share valuable secrets, and swap sacred ingredients—a mysterious hidden black market called The Serpent Road. With Auror numbers down, it would be suicide to infiltrate it… but they intend to try.
Before he enters the lion’s den, Harry has another milestone to attend: Dudley’s wedding. If Harry has to see Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon again, revenge is a dish best served Snape.

Magical
I don't really get why everyone acts like Harry is so dumb for not knowing how to deal with the house. Or out of line for being mad at it. He was raised by muggles. Maybe that's the point though - we see it like he does.
I love the way Malfoy is portrayed here.

the one where the house traps them and they use magic to make the house nice and they fall in love while trapped there. Harry "goes courting" at the end and it's cute.

Dumbledore is dead, and his plans seem to be falling apart before Severus' eyes. Harry Potter and his friends are no closer to finding and destroying the Horcruxes, and Voldemort's hold over the wizarding world is growing. Severus Snape desperately creates a potion that can send him back five years into the past. Hopefully, with more time, he can find the Horcruxes, find a way to save Harry from the Horcrux inside him and maybe even save some of his other students along the way.
Or he could fail and doom them all.

Snape makes a potion to go back in time. He gets Harry and starts to prepare him. Dumbledore can't understand why Snape isn't doing what he wants. Snape is still Headmaster because the castle remembers backwards. Snape and Harry start to kill of the horcruxes early.
Snape is like super crazy smart and invents amazing new potions. That bit is kind of over the top. He make a potion to cure lycanthropy. He can get rid of unbreakable vows and the dark mark. He recruits other famous potions people to help him make a horcrux removal potion.
The werewolves have their own school though the young ones go to Hogwarts.
Dumbledore tries to get Draco to spy and it activates Snapes unbreakable vow from the future. Dumbledore is removed as co-headmaster and professor for endangering a student. He places bugs so he is still tracking what's going on and trying to meddle.
Snape is headmaster and Heather is keeper of the keys and everyone has to swear to protect the students. There are goblins protecting Harry, Neville, Neville's grandma and Hermione because Augusta Longbottom asked for sanctuary until Snape was safe.
They make the horcrux removal potion and remove the horcrux. Harry is left unable to speak English (can speak parseltongue) and Snape is a snake anamagus.

Wow! this story is great!
Fun characters and very entertaining. It’s WIP at ch72 but leaves off in a decent place. It’s almost like it’s the end of one story and there’s space for a sequel.

Cassiopeia is into her science and lives with her house elf who takes care of the details of life. But she is actually a bamf who takes care of business when she has to. She gets the Malfoys under control and gets Sirius free and he takes custody of Harry. The story ends just when we find out something evil is in Harry’s scar.

This gets super sexy with good sex scenes- though there is plot. Plot is surprisingly robust and good. Weasley bashing and he is an ass. Friend Minerva. All other characters take a backseat.
The romance is slow and then all at once.
Hermione is a bit too pathetic and then she is too happy to be housewife-like. but honestly, after what she went through she’s probably traumatized and that changes people.
So not my favorite Hermione characterization but it does end up making the whole thing pretty damn hot.
I’d argue that Ron is too much of a jerk to be real, but then I’ve seen people do some crazy stuff. It just doesn’t feel quite right for him. But these are small gripes for an overall good story.

I love this story so much. The characters feel so real. It’s not happy but there are moments of happiness.
It’s a story that makes you feel things.
summary with spoilers
Snape and Lupin have a summer fling. The one with the church. They are doing a class project together and go to Cokeworth. They go to a church. They see Snape’s mom.
There is a sexy scene in a tree which is actually pretty hot.
This is also the fic where Snape tries to kill himself in a church.
There is a time skip they see each other near the end of the war. In the church again. It’s not a Romance because there isn’t a happily ever after. They part ways. It’s implied they don’t see each other again.

Draco goes to London alone for holiday break and sees Harry. Draco doesn’t know who harry is but recognizes magic.
Remus sees them and thinks they’re safer away from Wizarding world.

In last ch they meet up with Hermione et al. At end of story the kids are alone and going to fight Voldemort but no details given and it ends there.

I just keep thinking about this fic. It has a uncomfortable subject matter at times- abuse and trauma. The underage/adult is more like creature/adult so it didn't freak me out. The idea was really different.
