"No, no, you can't-" The voice who he presumed to be one belonging to Mr. Walker called out way too quickly. "There's an overhanging beam on our side that's in a really sketchy spot and if it falls because of impact, I'd rather all the kids be out of here first."
"Sir, we have to get you out at some point," Sapnap said, peeking his head into the hole.
"Pandas?"
Sapnap froze, his light still shining on the face of the person talking on the other side. Sapnap's eyes barely adjusted to try and make out his face, but by that nickname alone, Sapnap didn't need to see his face.
Mr. Walker, Mr. Walker,
Mr. Walker.Dream.
"Dream?" Sapnap muttered in shock.
"A firefighter," Dream laughed. "Oh wow."
If you told Sapnap that he would once again meet his long-lost childhood best friend, the one that went away to join the Navy SEALs, in the middle of trying to do his job, saving people from a natural disaster, Sapnap would simply say no thank you. No, he didn't want to meet the so-called best friend who left for 7 years, 4 of which were in total radio silence, causing Sapnap to think he was dead. No thank you.

Summary
It made too much sense. The earnestness in Dream’s voice when he gushed about the little girl’s happiness, when he told George that giving away free toys was more fun than just putting them back in the machine. When he played pretend with kids at the counter, even if only for a minute, and their parents would look at him like he’d just made their day. Maybe he had; at least once, he has to have made some little kid’s day.
Briefly, George thinks about being a kid again; so unwaveringly in love with all the little things. As he gets older, he wonders what he’ll fall in love with this time, as it all seems to come with a lot more to worry about.
The five times George knew his coworker was good with kids, and the day he finally realized he's in love with him.

When Jungkook had walked out of his dormitory to go buy his roommate stupid high-end chips in exchange for his friendship back, he never would've expected to come back and -in this order- get shot, almost bleed to death, befriend his roommate's archnemesis, hide from the cops, witness a cop's face explode, run away from the cops and then meet a mysterious man with the weird ability to warm Jungkook on the outside as much as on the inside. All in one night. And he didn't even get to keep the overpriced chips.
