“Uhh… I don’t think there’s any way for me to put this politely,” Caelus said, actually seeming to flush right before Veritas’ eyes.
“Then say it crudely,” Veritas demanded, too irritable to drag it out. The gnawing heat in his abdomen was grating on his last shred of tact.
Caelus set the phone down and rose to his feet, groaning and scrubbing a hand over his face. “To end the heat cycle, uh… you gotta take a lot of loads,” he finally said, pacing before the couch and sounding profoundly embarrassed. “You feel me?”
After a mishap with one of Madam Herta's curios, Dr. Ratio finds himself aboard the Astral Express and horribly afflicted with an incredibly strange, extremely pressing condition. The only cure to this bizarre, curio-induced heat? Tricking his body into thinking he's been impregnated.
Luckily for Veritas, a very eager Nameless is more than happy to assist— and he's bringing plenty of back-up.

Summary
It was a cold, cloudless night. The moon's eye cast its gaze upon the succubus, having climbed atop one of the large trees near a cracked window of a manor he'd spotted. It looked a bit run down – if a noble lived in it, they ought to be from a house in decline. Good. Less guard dogs to sneak around, less chance of a butler storming in.
Veritas swallowed, the fatigue of not having been satiated in far too long laying heavy upon his limbs. Black, clawed nails dug into the branch he was squatting on, kept him stable as a rush of wind whipped dark hair onto his face.
The only sign of life was the smoke steadily rising from the chimney on the roof; not a single lantern had been lit, and most of the windows were tightly shut, heavy curtains keeping Veritas from looking in.
Veritas, a starved succubus, seeks his next sustainer and ends up somewhere he never would've expected.

Ratio parts his mouth wider, allowing him to push the rest of the tart into that pliant mouth. For a moment, he can’t help but wonder how those lips would feel around him, soft and warm no doubt. His gloved thumb brushes against Ratio’s tongue, sending a shiver down his spine, the warmth of the touch spreading through his body.
Ratio swiftly moves back, closing his eyes as he chews.
“Absolutely delightful,” Ratio says quietly, the faintest blush on the tips of his ears. The sight of which awakens an itch in his hands. His fingers tingle with the maddening need to hold, to fidget with something. Instead, he brings his fingers to his lips and licks off the remaining sugar clinging to his gloves.
As part of an IPC mission, Ratio and Aventurine attend a New Year's Eve masquerade party. The night leads them to unexpected places, deepening their relationship in more ways than one.

He smirks as it seems the scholar is taking a bit interest in his suggestion. Instantly, he rums in his pocket and flips a coin out of it. “Coin tossing, let’s have the loser comply with any requests of the winner, shall we?”
“Five turns. Head” announce the scholar with dark navy hair.
Later, the scholar insists that the IPC executive is pulling some tricks, thus he demands to toss the coin for the next turn. Unfortunately, luck is siding with the blonde and he sweeps all the wins inside of his pocket with ease. Weirdly enough, all he requested is to have the scholar savoring the chocolates given by him. Just, what does Aventurine planning this time around?

His eyes are flashing in fiery fury as it follows a certain individual’s fingertips, mischievously caressing the small opening in the chest area of his garment. The individual with slightly wavy blonde hair hums in delight as a response, feigning ignorance as he settles himself on top of the scholar, who is currently lying on the bed. He proceeds to slide down a little, peruse the delicate details of the garment’s buttons and flips it open slowly, one by one. The action only infuriated the scholar further. “Make it quick!”, he demands.

Aventurine turned around only to see Veritas messing with his shirt again. His desire to know finally overtook him, aligning with the champagne in lifting the weight of his inhibition, thus leading him right behind Veritas. Quickly, he pinched the fabric and pulled back, gasping as he saw what had been troubling the scholar.
A red, shiny fabric tied into a bow. A style that was typically used for--
Veritas pushed his chair back, subsequently forcing Aventurine to retreat. He stood to his full height, though he wasn't imposing. Instead, embarrassment and alarm skewed his features, hand around his neck protectively. "I can explain--"
"Was that...?" the blonde murmured dumbly.
"I--," the taller man started only to freeze. He covered his face with both hands, every patch of visible skin feverishly burnt. "Damn it. You know exactly what it is."
