Summary
Gotham cultists mix a love spell into their summoning sigils, thinking they’ll be able to get the King to do whatever they want with minimal mind control required. But when Danny locks eyes with their sacrifice first, he finds himself falling for Gotham’s most notorious antihero.
Jason’s in between a rock and a hard place. He assumes King Phantom is only being amicable because of the enchantment, that he might just kill them all for the trouble once it's gone. But he’s got to get that spellbook before these elusive cultists figure out a more destructive solution, and His Majesty is stuck following him like a lost puppy in the meantime. Maybe, with luck, he’ll be able to convince the King otherwise.

Robin’s careless shrug belied what his smug little smirk could not: Danny had been pranked, and Robin totally thought this was funny. “Well, you know. A little birdie told me you weren’t the biggest fan of the holidays. Wanted to make sure you came.”
Danny opened his mouth to complain, or lecture, or just plain groan—he hadn’t decided yet—when suddenly a hand landed on his back and he was pressed into the shoulder of Miss Martian.
“Phantom!” She was grinning wildly when she pulled away from the hug, and a bit of her fiery red hair caught on her lipgloss. Danny stared at it, bluescreening, while M’gann went on talking. All frustration he felt fizzled and died. “I’m so glad you made it! Zatara, Artemis and I are making sugar cookies. Do you eat? Or, sorry, maybe that was insensitive. You can still help us frost them, if you don’t. The last batch just came out!”

Gillion blinked several times at Chip, like he couldn’t believe his sight, and his coral’s pink pulsating slowed gently to a stop. The color drained from his eyes, melting down into his waterline and leaving behind nothing but a thin glowing outline of a heart curving delicately across his irises.
“Chip,” Gill whispered reverently. His pupils dilated like a cat’s, larger than Chip had ever seen them.
“Shit,” Chip said, eloquently.

Plot is actually just an excuse to write Merlin-as-a-kid fluff. SPOILERS for S4. Set during S4, after episode #whatever, when Elyan is ... you know. This is one I wrote way back in 2012 and have finally migrated it over to this archive in case you recognize it. That's also why it's being posted all in one go. Summary
When the King is attacked in his tent on patrol and falls into an unending sleep everyone is worried. What they don't know is that Arthur is fine. In fact he is standing right here next to them, watching them all fret over his prone body. To stave off the boredom whilst a cure is found Arthur takes to wandering the castle and soon discovered a hidden side of Camelot he never knew about.
Or: Arthur's soul gets trapped outside his body and takes to following his servant around. He gets an interesting insight into Merlin, his servant's life and just how much Camelot needs the man.

Summary
The first time Danny saw Batman, he was elbow-deep inside a broken laundromat dryer.
This was not how he had imagined meeting Batman.
Not that Danny had spent a great deal of time imagining it. He had been in Gotham for exactly nine days, and most of those days had been occupied by more immediate concerns, such as finding food, avoiding police officers, figuring out which gargoyles were decorative and which ones had cameras hidden in their mouths, and trying not to sleep anywhere that smelled strongly of chemicals.
Gotham had a surprising number of places that smelled strongly of chemicals.
It also had Batman.
Everyone knew Gotham had Batman. Danny had known that before he arrived. Batman was one of those facts people carried around without really thinking about it, like Antarctica being cold or school cafeterias serving pizza that technically qualified as an object but not necessarily as food.
Batman lived in Gotham.
Batman punched criminals.
Batman brooded.
Batman had probably never once in his life been elbow-deep in a broken laundromat dryer.
Danny was beginning to suspect this was a serious oversight in Batman’s education.
