The dog’s name was Rager, and he had a broken front tooth and sometimes had to wear what looked like a wide cloth belt but was actually a diaper, just so that he wouldn’t spontaneously piss all over Eddie’s New York City apartment. The apartment in question cost $2550 a month and absolutely should have housed an art dealer and his two greyhounds, but instead Eddie paid the rent so that Rager could live in style on the Upper East side.
