Pepper hair, eyebags, wrinkles. You have some coworkers that fit those traits...who you find attractive, which isn't a coincidence. You're way too mentally ill to be anywhere close to normal around them, although you sure as hell do try.
Along with being an Elite Four member, you conduct research in the Paldean Crater and Area Zero-- which is important enough that the Top Champion herself mandates it top-secret even among the other Elite Four members. No one else in the League is allowed to go down there and no one's heard from the researchers down there in years, which means that you have no idea what to expect down there. But the security of your career is riding on this, since you're otherwise unimpressive with lackluster results.
...So it really doesn't help that you've fumbled the bag massively by getting extremely drunk at a work event while having the world's worst anxiety....
