Summary
Peace between the city states of Zaun and Piltover means that, finally, after decades of war, the slow deaths of their Alpha and Omega populations may finally be addressed. With the majority of Omegas residing in Zaun and the majority of Alphas in Piltover, the two designations have had to resort to dangerous and unorthodox means to survive or succumb to the ruts that drove them mad and the heats that, more often than not, took their lives.
A partnership between two of the brightest minds in Piltover and Zaun is the first ray of hope either city has had for decades. But for the two brilliant scientists, what should be a fairly straightforward, if tense, alliance slowly devolves into something much more... complicated.

Soap hears a confession Ghost didn't think he was awake to hear, and the two sort out their feelings while Ghost takes care of Soap after his injury.

Soap felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room. He watched Rudy’s hand tighten on Alejandro’s as he shot a sympathetic look towards Soap, who quickly looked away.

Simon was back on the football field, and that immediately felt like a bad idea.
