“A Sea King caught on my fishing line and dragged me for a while,” Roronoa shrugged, as if it happened to everyone. “Why? Is it out of the way again?”
“We’re in East Blue, Swordsman-ya.”
“Ah.”
Law pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to avoid the migraine he could feel gathering behind his eyes.
Honestly, he was starting to feel bad for Roronoa. And he was almost done with the hearts, and Saobody was on the way to Marineford, kinda-
“Do you need a lift to Sabaody?” It slipped out, the tone coming out more genuine than the dry exasperation he had been aiming for.
He regretted asking already, but it’s not like he could take it back now. And chances were that Roronoa would decline, anyways-
“Sure,” Roronoa shrugged. “Might as well.”
Goddamnit.
Or: Zoro and Law keep running into each other. Clearly, it's fate!

But now, sitting on a log outside the cabin, exiled by the one person who means anything to her, Jackie thinks only of the tragedy. The tragedy isn’t their circumstances, it’s them. Jackie would always be this person, Shauna would always grow to hate her, and--plane crash or no plane crash--Jackie would always end up here. The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.

Art’s eyes rolled, a dramatic, oversized motion that overtook his entire body. “God, fuck you.” He glanced past Patrick, and Tashi could tell the exact moment that Art’s eyes found her. His entire body stiffened up and he went pink up to the tips of his ears just peeking out of golden hair. “Oh. Hi.”
Laughter was light as a salt filled breeze on her voice. “Hi.”
The moment lingered a second too long, and Patrick leaned back in his seat with a groan. “Oh my god, stop staring and get in the car.”

He dies upon the bridge, unaware of the fates of his Fellowship, and wakes up moments later with the intention of finding his mother, escaping the Halls of Mandos and re-joining the War of the Ring. This would be a lot easier if he was actually in the Halls of Mandos however, instead of at Losgar as the Noldor arrive in Beleriand from Valinor for the first time.
