Summary
The two dots are pressed close together in one corner of the warehouse map. Tim's marker pushes Jason's back into the corner. Jason's heart rate ticks up again. It doesn't take a genius to put together the chain of events here, and Dick is a decently smart guy who's known Tim and Jason for years and years, through thick and thin; watched them circle around each other and orbit closer and closer towards an inevitable collision. Even the stubbornest Bats have to crack eventually. Dick didn't think a routine kidnapping would be the thing that did it, but. Alright, then.
Bruce narrows his eyes at the screen. Dick can practically see each individual thought flickering across his face, the world's greatest detective putting things together in real time. Oh, boy.
"They've always had a tense relationship," Bruce says. "It was bound to boil over at some point." He leans so close to the screen that Dick is tempted to turn things back on him and lecture him about eye strain. "They're fighting again."
"Uh," Steph says.
"Well," Dick tries.

Steph, Dick, and Bruce observe Jason rescue Tim from a kidnapping. Bruce is in for a revelation. Dick is in for a long, long night.

Summary
"I'm not interested in feeding your ego, if that's what you're looking for," Tim says, as Jason makes his way across the warehouse rafters. Almost there. "You'll get your fucking ransom, but I'm not going to pretend to be cowed."
"You are a bitch," Head Guy says, almost contemplatively, and then he lifts his gun out of the holster and neatly pistolwhips Tim across the face.
Jason registers precisely two things. First, the sharp, resonating crack of the pistol across Tim's forehead. Second, and more importantly, Tim's small, pained inhale.
The next ten seconds or so are lost to Jason entirely.
When he comes back to himself, the absolute fucking bastard is falling at Jason's feet with a new bullethole through his skull and Tim is staring up at him with a slack-jawed expression. There's blood dripping down the side of his face. Only some of it is his.
"Hey," Jason says, stupidly.

Tim gets kidnapped. Jason takes this personally. Tim takes this to heart. You'll never guess what happens next.

Summary
“I’m going to kick your ass,” Jason threatens. “Creeper.”
This kind of threat usually works. Jason’s gotten very good at it over the years. At the very least, it makes the target reconsider their choices.
The Replacement does not look like he’s reconsidering anything. In fact, he looks a little pitying. “Right now, you have the constitution of a wet tissue. I don’t even think you could stand up without passing out.”
He says this so evenly and plainly that Jason is automatically furious. Just to prove Replacement’s scrawny little ass wrong, he is going to stand up, beat his ass into the ground, and then kill everyone in Crime Alley who has ever wronged him. The list is long. It’ll probably last the whole night.
The fact that he only gets up to his knees before everything goes black is, like. A minor setback.

Jason Todd is about to find out why hundred and four degree fevers are, generally, considered detrimental to one's well-being. Tim Drake is about to commit crimes against Top Ramen and humanity. Bruce Wayne is about to fret. What else do you expect?

Summary
If it weren’t for his chest, Jason would be nearly impossible to recognize as an omega. He’s taller and more muscular than most omegas so with his deep voice, no one would ever guess. If it weren’t for his body’s absolute betrayal. Jason, like pretty much all adult omegas, produces milk. It’s meant to help reinforce pack bonds and keep pups adopted into a pack fed. That’s not the problem, that part of it is manageable with absorbent pads in shirts and semi-regular use of a breast pump. It sucks, but it’s not the problem. The problem is that Jason’s pack bonds are weak, so his body will let down and start producing milk on a hair trigger. He’s peak fertile age and tangentially part of a mostly alpha pack, but not bonded well enough to balance his hormones, so his body has decided to try and tempt his pack into bonds with milk.

“I got this, Hood.” Red Robin sounds annoyed as he arcs and twists through the air, kicking one henchman into another and wrenching the gun away from a third while simultaneously retracting his grappling line and then launching it to catch another unwary henchman. Just, how?
“I can see you do,” Red Hood says, and wait. Was his voice always that deep? Is he… Maya squints. Is he staring at Red Robin’s ass?
She blinks, then studies the line of sight more closely. Maybe he’s just checking out Red Robin’s kneecaps, in preparation for shooting at them? That seems more his style. Sexual attraction is kind of confusing and she still doesn’t totally believe Tosh that it’s actually as big a thing as people make it out to be—seriously, do other people really spend that much time thinking about it? Sounds fake but okay.
But no, Red Hood’s helmet is totally pointed at Red Robin’s ass. Huh. That’s new.
