Palpatine’s voice rang out over the plaza, but Leia could hardly hear it over the ringing in her ears. How? When? Palpatine was dead—she was sure of it. Luke had been sure of it. So, how—
But then, Leia realized as she looked up at his face on the screen, she had never seen Palpatine like this. The Emperor had forgone that dark cloak that shielded his face from view. Instead his visage was plain and unmarred. He looked…ordinary. He looked like a regular man. Old. Not feeble, persay, but…vulnerable. Yet strong and confident. If Leia didn’t know any better, she’d say he looked almost kind.
But she did know better.
And as Palpatine spoke, the lack of Imperial presence, the strangeness of this place, the words Vader had spoken before her brother had vanished—everything came together at once, understanding dawning on Leia in an instant.
On the screen, Palpatine said, “With the Jedi behind us, we will defeat the Separatist Army once and for all, and bring peace to our Republic!”The crowd cheered, the applause ringing in Leia’s ears like a drumbeat.
Vader had sent them to the past.

Jason scoffed into the utter quiet of the Tower. “You’d think Bruce would’ve thought better of recruiting a weak-ass Robin like you, considering the last one kicked it.”
Robin’s head twitched at that, moving slowly to face Jason once again. Jason slammed his hand down on his cheek, holding him down, and Robin couldn’t muster the strength to fight back.
Still, Jason heard him mumble, “Don’t…” The rest was unintelligible.
“Speak up, Timothy.”
Tim glared straight at him and spat, “Don’t you dare talk about my dead girlfriend like that.”
The short burst of strength failed him, and Jason felt Timothy Drake’s hands slip down his arm and fall at his sides, consciousness fleeing.
Static filled Jason’s mind, and a dull ringing echoed in his ears.
He felt his muscles clench. Of course his schemes would be overturned and ruined on the first step. Damn Timothy Drake. Damn Bruce and his penchant for drawing children into his crusade of vengeance. There’s another.

Summary
The first two months of his Posting, CC-1010 aka Fox was doing his job as normal. Stopping riots, standing guard, doing patrol, a whole metric ton of paperwork and getting black outs about once a ten-day. Then he wakes up after a blackout, kidnapped by some random people who are telling him about chips in his head, a Jedi who is going to fall and are resisting being found so he can arrest them and kick them off his planet.
Fox bets that the GAR doesn't have to deal with this load of bathna poodoo.

“I’m leaving.” Merlin says, because this situation already cost him his Duolingo streak, and he’s too tired to deal with Arthur when the food Gaius is serving him looks like it belongs on a list of war crimes committed by the Canadian soldiers.
“Where to?” His mentor asks, and Merlin shrugs, before going to his room and packing his bag.
“India. Gaius, I have decided I don’t give a damn, especially not when having to eat that bland food. I’ll be back in three months, make sure Arthur doesn’t die when I’m out.”
“Merlin!” And maybe, if he was younger and didn’t travel back to the past last month, he would’ve actually cared about the ‘eyebrow of disapproval’.
Or, a 1500yo Merlin gets zapped to the past during his vacation to Cuba. You’d think he’s happy to see Arthur again. He’s not.

Summary
Anakin and Padmé arrive on Tatooine a little earlier and are able to save Shmi's life. In a moment of happiness, they get married and decide to get matching tattoos. They rush to Geonosis just in time to see Count Dooku announce himself as head of the Separatist Alliance.... and they must have touched something, because suddenly they find themselves back on Tatooine, in an alternate dimension.
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and Ben Kenobi try to understand what the clones of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala are doing here.
(Spoiler: everyone's too dense to notice that the answer is simple: time travel).
