As such, the characters are closer to their season 1 characterizations than they would realistically be, seeing everything else that happens. Soooooo, let's say this is an alternate universe where basically none of the actual plot points have taken place. Cool? Cool.

Yoongi is a simple backpacker, on a solo backpacking trip. He comes across an unconscious hiker when there’s a two-day’s hike between him and any kind of civilization, beyond any signal-reaching areas. He’d never guess that the ‘hiker’ is from an alternate reality, on the run from the intergalactic police after killing a top official and part of a greater rebellion.

“Holy fucking shit,” Yoongi exclaimed under his breath, stopping in his tracks. “I didn’t sign up for this.”
Ten feet ahead of him down off the path lay a man—or at least he thought it was a man; he hadn’t gotten close enough yet to know for sure—face down and body covered with dirt and debris. It looked like a foreigner, if the blond hair was any indication. That made him even more nervous.
Taking a deep breath and steeling his nerves, he set down his bag and began to inch down the hill toward the figure.

Summary
If you want to make it big, you’ve got to start off small. This is something that Jimin acknowledges, for he just carries on singing features for underground rappers in the hopes of breaking into the mainstream scene even when the lyrics mean nothing to him.
If you want to make it in the scene, you’ve got to fake it in the scene. This is something that Yoongi understands intimately. But he’s never been one to be a poser, and there’s only far stuntin’ can get you before you burn out like the end of a cigarette.
Yoongi finally wants to move on from his bad past and take the gamble so that he can drop his first mixtape as ‘D-boy’, and he can’t think of anyone more perfect to feature on it than rising talent: Park Jimin.
Jimin really wants to break free from nights spent singing at hip hop clubs for a pittance and finally have his name on an official track in the music charts, but he’s going to need some help navigating the brutal world of music contracts and the paparazzi; and being involved in a scandal the likes of which the industry has never seen before.

Summary
Park Jimin works hard, and everyone knows it. His boss likes him, his coworkers adore him, and he knows it's just a matter of time until he graduates from the ranks of the desk farm and into something better. All he has to do is conquer every single feeling of inadequacy he's ever had. Simple enough.
Job-stealing newcomer Jeon Jeongguk doesn't seem to work for much of anything at all, and he's more than arrogant enough for them both. But he's certainly well-connected, tall and rich and good at everything. Jimin hates him on sight, and by the end of the first week he's sure they're eternal enemies.
And sure, Jeongguk may be cute, even hot underneath his suits, but Jimin doesn't care about that.
