This time, Garak doesn't tell him about Mila and Tain. He doesn't tell him anything. They just lie there together and he soaks in Julian's body heat and feels, for a moment, that he is very, very lucky to have this. Even though it's not real. Even though, tomorrow, they will have another clean slate.
It is 25:59 and counting. Julian's fingers card through his hair.
"I love you," Garak says, before the clock ticks down.
