“Danny?” she called out again, shaking his shoulder gently.
His suit was undamaged, and he wasn’t bleeding. The area was empty — Jazz could see hints of an island, floating off somewhere in the distance, but it seemed as barren as the Ghost Zone could get.
Jazz could see no reason why Danny would even be here, let alone be unconscious. Especially unconscious as Phantom — if he was truly injured, he should have turned human again.
But he wasn’t. He was still a ghost, and she couldn’t wake him up. Something was very, very wrong.

Nedzu’s grin sharpened. “It’s come to my attention that certain… individuals, let us say, have been using our educational system as something of a… recruiting ground for… Well, something nefarious, to be sure, but the details are still up in the air. Obviously, this cannot be allowed to continue,” Nedzu continued.
“Obviously,” Shouta echoed, feeling his jaw twitch.

“Ah, hero-san?” he asked, stumbling over the word a little. “Are you alright?”
As soon as he asked, Izuku felt himself flush. It seemed ridiculous to think that he could do something to help a hero that they wouldn’t be able to do themselves, but there was just something so odd about her that he couldn’t help it.
Maybe it was her costume, his mind suggesting, racing as the moment hung, balanced in silence.
Her costume, Izuku couldn’t have helped but notice, was an old-fashioned one. It probably wouldn’t be obvious to many people, since it was pretty much a classic, with the large, heavy boots, the gloves and the cape, but there was a simplicity to it that spoke of an earlier era. Maybe she’d been inspired by All Might’s Young Age costume?
:: Midoriya Izuku finds a hero on the side of the street. She is not someone he knows, not yet, but she is very important nonetheless.

Do you know how easy it is to accidentally delete or orphan a series?? i don't because I avoid those buttons like antimaskers.

Apollo was having a perfectly good morning- right up until he vomited down the side of the sun chariot. Which was incredibly strange, if you asked him, because gods simply do not get sick.
As if that weren’t strange enough, an unintended meet-up with Percy Jackson in a Target parking lot revealed that the demigod was hearing prayers- something that Apollo was actually not responsible for, despite what Percy seemed to think.
