“I won’t.” She gives her word, seals it as if it were a sacred promise with a kiss that steals both of their breath away.
“Can you promise me?” Drift whispers in mid-kiss, her eyes obscured with a haze of deeply in love and terribly scared, “If you feel or think you don't remember anything, can you guarantee to me that you'll come back home?”
