Reincarnation AU in which all the Amis remember except for Enjolras, and they’ve been subtly trying to get him to remember for a while and it isn’t working and then one day he walks into the back room of what used to be the Musain and Grantaire is there at a back table, playing his guitar and singing I Will Follow You Into The Dark.And maybe it’s the familiar walls off which echoed laughter and passionate speeches and gunfire, and maybe it’s our hands clasped so tight, waiting for the hint of a spark, and maybe it’s the look in Grantaire’s eyes when he looks up and sees Enjolras, that painfully familiar mix of awe and inexplicable tenderness, and Enjolras remembers, remembers the protests, the late-night Musain meetings, the rise and fall of the barricade, remembers the permets-tu and the way the bullets tore into him and how he died smiling.

Grantaire is a serial killer who began his career with the murder of his abusive, alcoholic father. He then tore a path of murders around France, killing men who looked just like his father-- blonde hair, blue eyes-- and reenacting his fathers abuses on them. When he abducts Enjolras from a college campus and begins his cruel crucible, Enjolras' strength and persistence wins him over while his own life gains Enj's sympathy.

My take on post-fall Hannigram. Three works are projected:
Paradise Found: Will and Hannibal escape to Cuba. On the cleansing ocean, they learn to forgive and to love and from the waters, are reborn to a new life.
Paradise Forged: In the safety of the island, Will and Hannibal learn what it is to live together, what it means for their lives to merge. Their new conjoined being is nurtured and cradled by the flowers and birdsong.

Ah, he wishes it were so simple. If Hannibal were to wish for anything, it would be Will Graham underneath him, gasping, moaning, whispering his name while he placed claiming bites on his beautiful, porcelain throat. Such an image is so lovely… and so achingly far away. There is nothing wrong with wishing for it, but if it is a boundary that is never crossed, Hannibal can live with it. He can live this quiet, friendly, occasionally bloody life they live simply as friends if it means he continues to have it.
That does not mean Hannibal won’t settle for his second favorite. (It isn’t really settling though; their shared hunts are the greatest adventures he’s ever had.)
“Well, there is that dreadful Senor Pérez down at the docks…”
_________________A year after the fall. Hannibal and Will are friends and partners in crime, but nothing more. Hannibal is... fine with that. He is content having Will in any way that he is allowed if it means Will stays.
Today is Hannibal's birthday. Will surprised him with a kiss.

Hannibal is locked up in the Baltimore Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Supposedly he's in maximum security but he pretty much just breaks out and leaves any time it suits him.
And it suits him to break out whenever he thinks Will needs him.
