Summary
“You-” Ygraine said, stepping up to point a finger in Uther’s face. “You are a liar and a murderer. The fact you think someone as sweet and caring as Vivienne is destined to marry you is a tragedy in itself, but if you expect me to hand over my brother’s rightful claim to Camelot’s throne-”
“My claim to Camelot’s throne,” Uther threw back, face growing more red as Arthur looked between his parents in utter bewilderment. Merlin didn’t blame him. He had envisioned Uther and Ygraine’s love story to be more… well, less based in war and battles.
Ygraine’s eyes narrowed as she grabbed a goblet of wine and threw it in Uther’s face. A few of the guards shifted, but Uther only raised a hand to pause them, spitting out the wine with furious eyes.
“You,” Ygraine said coldly. “Are unworthy to sit upon a stool, let alone a throne.”
From a few feet away, Balinor scoffed as he sipped from his own goblet. “I kind of like having her as a hostage, Uther. She livens up the place.”
Or
In a desperate attempt to save Arthur at Camlann, Merlin tries to reverse time. It works perhaps a tad too well.

Summary
When Morgana and Agravaine attempted to take Camelot by siege, Merlin could only see one path forward: reveal himself, and push back their army. Now, with Agravaine dead and his secrets revealed, his relationship with Arthur seems broken beyond repair, especially since Arthur has sent him away from Camelot to represent the Crown's interest outside of the city.
Accompanied by Gwaine, Percival, and two new knights, Merlin must endeavor to reassure the Kingdom and its allies that magic can be a force for good even as he navigates the pressures that come from being a newly-elevated noble and Arthur's recognized personal sorcerer.
His quest begins with King Olaf and Lady Vivian.

Summary
“I have seen this all before,” Merlin’s voice was steely though his hands shook at his sides.
The old druid merely shook his head, “You have seen visions, Emrys, possibilities. I am offering you a certainty. Arthur’s bane will be his demise. If the boy is left alive, there will be no legacy to Arthur’s reign, only a hazy memory of a sovereign that was born in blood and died in blood.”
Merlin’s eyes widened, and a stinging sensation nestled its way into his skin as the druid’s magic filled the room.
“The decision is yours to make. The Triple Goddess will make her’s in return.”
OR
It was always going to be Arthur. Even if it meant taking the life of one of his own, Merlin was always going to choose the path that saw Arthur live. A seer offers Emrys a choice and a promise in one, and for once Merlin acts upon it.

Summary
Mordred’s gaze stared at him blankly, all fight and emotion drained out of his body, his visage more akin to that of a corpse than a young boy. “It’s you, you’re the king from the prophecy.”
Arthur blinked. That made even less sense. “You must be mistaken.”
“I’m not. Emrys chose you, the Druids know it.”
“But wouldn’t I know?” Arthur narrowed his eyes. “This seems kind of important. I think I would know.”
Morgana intervenes early and Arthur winds up captured on an Angle ship with Mordred for company. Neither of them is particularly enthusiastic about this, but with Morgana's presence growing and Mordred's hands in iron chains, Arthur may be forced to face realities he did not wish challenged and use methods he condemned - even magic.
