"His vision blurred and Puffy carefully pried the notebook out of his hands, setting it on the coffee table in front of the fireplace. Ranboo pulled his legs up onto the sofa, moving to lie down and face the fire, staring unblinkingly into the flickering oranges and yellow.
“I’ll be here when you wake up,” Puffy said softly, Ranbooo not responding. She pulled a blanket over him and it did nothing for the cold chill that spread in his bones. He shook under the covers as Puffy took a seat at the table, soft footsteps coming down from the stairs and a kiss was pressed to his temple.
