The battle was over, and Thorin Oakenshield awoke, naked and shivering, in the Halls of his Ancestors.
The novelty of being dead fades quickly, and watching over his companions soon fills him with grief and guilt. Oddly, a faint flicker of hope arises in the form of his youngest kinsman, a Dwarf of Durin's line with bright red hair.
(Follows the story of the War of the Ring).
(Bagginshield, Gimli/Legolas) In which recovery takes time, the dead members of the Company take to watching Gimli as though he’s a soap opera, the living struggle with being left behind, Legolas is confused, Khuzdul is abused, and Thorin is four feet and ten inches of guilt and anger.

The dwarrow were forced to watch as their leader transformed into a monster, losing more of himself as each day passed. Bilbo, unaffected by the curse must look for a way to melt Thorin's frozen heart, or he will never be able to see Bag End again.

After the Battle of Five Armies, Bilbo is imprisoned for his betrayal of dwarves. Convinced his dwarves have not forgiven him, Bilbo escaped back to the Shire and accepts that his adventure came to an end. The company, unaware of his arrest, eventually must accept that their burglar must have perished in the battle. A recreated mournful journey back to the Shire forces everyone to confront the past.

Summary
Many perished in the battle of the five armies but one stood above all else. One of the company of Thorin Oakenshield had fallen, one that had been marked a traitor only to be proven the strongest and bravest of them all. Stricken with grief and pain, Thorin disregards the potential backlash for laying a non-dwarf to rest in Erebor and gives Bilbo an honorable dwarven funeral.
However, when horror struck, it rattled the very stone around them. Everyone thinks that it is the result of divine retribution...but Mahal truly does love his wife and her beloved children.

Summary
When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.

Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! Summary
It has been 12 years since Grace died, surrounded by his friends, students, and family. Despite Grace no longer needing the atmosphere to keep him alive, it was maintained so that future Eridians could learn about his environment, and from the life he lived post Project Hail Mary. Rocky had visited every day, but as time progressed, he was left with less and less time to visit his friend. Still, he visited as often as he could. He visited when he couldn't figure out the solution to a problem, or when he heard a corny joke that he hated but he knew that Grace would have loved.
One day, he visits to find a large hole in the ground. The burial site is empty. The statue that'd been erected in Grace's honour had crumbled, half of the base sunken into the new hole.
What. The. Fuck.
