Aizawa looked away from him, clearly anxious about Hizashi’s staring, and the blond man’s eyes darted into Aizawa’s basket instead.
It was filled with snacks, apples and fruit pouches, until Hizashi’s eyes landed on-

Izuku’s shoulders dropped slightly.
“I asked them if someone without a quirk could become a hero.”
Stendhal-san snorted. Izuku’s shoulders nearly covered his ears. He knew, he heard it from All Might already, he didn’t need to have Stendhal-san repeat it, too-
“Obviously,” Stendhal-san said, leaning back on his arms. “Quirks are merely tools; plenty of heroes have perfect quirks and not an ounce of heroism in their blood. You’re already more of a hero than numbers 2 through 10, combined.”
Izuku could feel the tears slipping down his cheeks, sobbing at the words he had been yearning to hear for so long.
“Did they- did they not say that?” Stendhal-san asked, startled by Izuku’s reaction.

The kids—” Here, he pressed his fist harder to his mouth, sucked in a wheezing breath, as if the air itself was pushing down something with physical weight. “The kids—”
“Scattered immediately,” Aizawa finished for him, and Yagi managed a nod.
Yagi’s eyes were so dilated that the blue was almost invisible. He shook violently. He looked like a scarecrow in a windstorm.
Someone activated a Fear-Inducer Quirk so powerful that it reduced All Might to this— of course Aizawa’s class had bolted.

They'd probably be okay with it, Kirishima convinces himself. He's just not ready to tell them, that's the only reason. He's pretty sure that they're not homophobic, despite what he hears at church.
He's wrong.

The boy was bright, constantly smiling and laughing. He had sun kissed skin, garnet red eyes, and an impressive bone structure- high cheekbones, doe eyes, an upturned button nose. He had a small scar over his left eye, and has bright red hair that was styled up in the most ridiculous hair style.
He had great manners too. Seriously. Mitsuki resisted pinching herself to check if this was a dream or not. How did her son- Bakugou Katsuki, loud, abrasive, almost always angry- manage to get such a friendly boy as his friend?
But, Mitsuki realises, watching a blush paint her sons cheeks as he stares at the redhead with a strange intense look in his eyes, he wasn’t just a friend, not to Katsuki.
Her son had a crush, and that in itself is what made Mitsuki finally believe that all this was real. That the day had finally come. Her son had feelings, real emotions.
