The car ride was filled with music, but it was all so dull to Evan. He hated the song, not even paying attention to the words said, or to the tune, but all he knew is that he hated it. It was too upbeat, too cheerful for the way he felt. His father was blank in the face, driving silently to the diner.Evan curled up in the backseat with his knees to his chest, the seatbelt pressing into the weight and anxiety he felt welling up in his body. He didn’t particularly enjoy the diner, if anything he was scared of it, which didn’t make sense, considering Micheal a couple weeks before his birthday would stick him in there to “train” him, he’d say, telling him that if he got used to it enough, he wouldn’t throw a tantrum when he would have to go there.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by Micheal shaking his shoulder, the car door open. “Get out. We’re here.” His brother said quickly, stepping back so Evan could get out of the car, clutching his Fredbear plush tightly, almost protectively. He gazed up at the diner, dread filling his chest.
Nothing bad would happen.

“Never, and I mean never volunteer yourselves for the games,” Phil says, voice low, “I don’t care if it’s for your best friend. I don’t care how young the tribute is. I care about you and only you.”
“What about if it’s one of us?” Techno asks, gears already turning in his head, “What then?”
“Then don’t do that to each other,” Phil breathes, “I know what you’re thinking, Tech, I know how you are. But if you volunteered for any of them and didn’t come home? Can you imagine how they’d feel?”
Techno frowns, leaning back into the couch. He doesn’t agree, but doesn’t refute him. Wilbur hooks his arm around his twin’s as a gentle reminder that he’s here.
But Phil’s aching heart can’t ignore the reality that one day, they may not be.

Tommy has been illegally drag racing with his friends Tubbo, Ranboo, Quackity for quite some time now, and he’s damn good at it. It’s one of the only things Tommy feels like he does right, and clearly he’s got to be good because he keeps winning the money. If it hadn’t been for the fact that His older brother Techno was in college most of the time and Wilbur hadn’t been so heavily in his academics he probably would have been caught a LONG time ago. When he gets the proposition to race Dream, the only other man who he had a competitive streak with, Dream decides to play dirty to win.
Now Tommy’s brothers knows his secret, and he’s not pleased one bit about it.
