Arthur sighed and looked at the letter Leon had brought in earlier. The invitation. Next month would be the one-year anniversary of the treaty between Camelot and the druids. Almost a year had passed since Arthur had given them a piece of his lands and the money they needed to settle down and live in peace. Since he’d gone against his late father’s policies and had declared magic users were friends to all who lived in Camelot and not their enemies. And that, of course, was why the letter had been sent. The invitation to a celebration in King Arthur’s honour. There was no reason for Arthur to decline. There really wasn’t.
And yet he had no intention of attending the celebration. He’d done right by the druids. As he should have. And that was all that mattered. There was no need for him to have to visit the druids. Visit... him.
