Philippe watches as the streams of water carry away the soap from Corbeau's skin. His tattoos are revealed once more, an awe-inspiring tableau of ink on a canvas so rarely uncovered. How far Philippe has come in his skill, he considers, to have laid a hand on Corbeau in harm. How far they have come in their bond, to lay his hands now in such open, naked, trusting care.
"I used to think you were untouchable," Philippe murmurs aloud.
"Nobody is," comes the knowing response. Corbeau turns to meet that softened silvery gaze, a smile behind his hand dutifully pinching his injured nose. "For better and for worse."

Corbeau's counters never stood a chance, whenever they were aimed at his lover. “You know that any sane man wouldn't say no to a break from work and the bed waiting for them at home, right?”
If he could pick his resting place, this would be it, for Corbeau: to be enveloped in the arms of a partner who imbued every act with a devotion to love, lulled into his next life by each thud of a heart that pumped nothing but unwavering affection.
“Oh, please. You talk like I still have a shred of it; I've lost all rational thought the second I fell in love with the little upstart that was supposed to be my street rival,” Philippe met him in the middle, and this was the routine folded into their romance, the way his boyfriend reassured Corbeau with enough sass that would make their grunts blanch, if they caught wind of it.
Or: a long, restless night loomed for Corbeau, when he was stuck in the Rust Syndicate office to investigate the Hyperspace portals. Philippe's genius plan to help the boss relax finally found its time to shine.

2. Written for the "Bad Habits" prompt. The two largest men Corbeau knows both love a good tussle. Corbeau loves to watch a good tussle. Everyone benefits.
3. Written for the "Sleeping Together" prompt. Ange Floette has just been defeated, and after days of working around the clock on the clean-up, Corbeau and Phillipe pass out sitting on a couch together.
